ABOUT THE AUTHOR

 

Alison Reeger Cook (A.R. Cook) is a novelist, playwright, and screenwriter. She is the author of The Scholar and the Sphinx trilogy, The Scale Seekers high fantasy series, Stingy Jack and the Seven Spirits of Halloween, as well as short stories in the Mirstone anthologies (Dragonfire Press), Women of the Woods (Fabled Collective), Willow Weep No More and Shadows of the Oak (Tenebris Books).

Her stage plays have been performed at the University of Iowa in Iowa City; Chicago, Illinois; and Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the screenwriter of the award-winning short film B.L.I.S.S.
