ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Robert Franek, Editor-in-Chief at The Princeton Review, is the company’s chief expert on education and college issues. Over his 25-year career, he has served as a college admissions administrator, test prep teacher, author, and lecturer. Rob visits more than 50 colleges a year and oversees the company’s line of 150 titles from best-selling test-prep guides to college- and graduate school-related books. Prior to joining The Princeton Review in 1999, Rob served as a college admissions administrator at Wagner College (New York City) for six years. David Soto, Director of Content Development, is a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University and Director of Content Development for The Princeton Review. He helps create a line of guidebook titles on various aspects of the admissions process, including college, graduate school, and career-related topics, as well as the company website which serves more than half of all college-bound students. Prior to joining The Princeton Review in 2001, David worked as a photojournalist at The Arizona Republic (Phoenix) for two years. He lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Stephen Koch, Student Survey Manager, received a BA from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. He has been a member of The Princeton Review admissions content team since 2011. Stephen gathers and synthesizes all types of data The Princeton Review uses to create our guidebooks and website content. He lives in Brooklyn, NY. In his free time, he loves to travel (only sometimes to colleges) and performing with his improv team at the Upright Citizens Brigade, The People’s Improv Theater, and all over the New York area.

Aaron Riccio, Senior Editor, earned a BA from Binghamton University in 2005. Since then, he has been working in various capacities within educational services, and has been with The Princeton Review’s editorial department for the last five years. (He also moonlights as a TV, theater, and video game critic for Slant Magazine.)
