Mission Accomplished
‘I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.’
2 Timothy
Everything seems to be in perfect order. You have basically done what you set out to do. Only the details remain to be finalized. It would be only too easy to sit back and relax, assuming that the situation will now take care of itself. But it will not. It is precisely at this stage that things can go wrong. In any aspect of life, keeping something at the peak of perfection takes work. If you let things slide, they simply go downhill. Pay great attention to detail. Be aware of where problems may arise unless you are careful. Take the appropriate precautions to prevent this happening. Forewarned is forearmed. If you are blessed with secure relationships, do not take them for granted. They too need care and attention if they are to remain stable.
An opportunity for personal growth
It is a rule of life that everything changes. Therefore nothing can remain as it is indefinitely. The fact that you have accomplished something does not mean that progress stops there. To consolidate your gains is like keeping the pot on the boil. You have to keep an eye on it. If the fire gets too low or the pot boils dry, you have problems. This means that you must keep your wits about you. Notice whatever needs to be done to keep your particular pot boiling merrily. If you become careless or lose motivation, the situation will begin to decline.
Further aspects of the situation
NINE AT THE BEGINNING
Progress is being made. But do not be tempted to push ahead too quickly in an effort to see results. Before you take any step, carefully consider what it may involve. If you act on impulse you run the risk of creating problems.
SIX IN THE SECOND PLACE
A problem causes a temporary delay but it is not serious. Do not try to press forward. Wait patiently. When you are meant to achieve something, nothing can ultimately prevent you.
NINE IN THE THIRD PLACE
You have achieved something very difficult. Be careful not to throw away the results of your hard work by involving someone who is unreliable or insufficiently skilled.
SIX IN THE FOURTH PLACE
Be on your guard. There may be hidden problems lurking. You cannot afford to take things easy or to be too soft with others.
NINE IN THE FIFTH PLACE
Be sincere. Avoid extravagance. Do not feel that you must go to great lengths to impress others. It is far better to do things simply but with real feeling. If your heart is in the right place, you will attract good fortune.
SIX AT THE TOP
Do not be content to simply stand back and admire what you have achieved so far. You cannot afford to rest on your laurels. If you let things slide, you could lose all you have gained. Keep on moving ahead.
