Nearly Home and Dry
‘For the times they are a-changin’!’
Bob Dylan
It is a difficult time. There is great potential for change to a much better situation, but nothing is settled yet. You must be determined to achieve your goal. The problem is knowing how to go about it in the best way. You are being pulled in different directions and must make sense of the confusion. Decisions have to be made. Yet nothing in your past experience can guide you in this instance. First, you must be absolutely clear in your own mind what you want the outcome to be. Make sure that each step you take leads you in that direction. Proceed with the utmost caution. Use your common sense. Be streetwise and adaptable. Stay on the alert for signs that your approach is not working. If this happens, stop and consider what might be a more effective way. Be very wary. Provided you take nothing for granted, success is guaranteed.
An opportunity for personal growth
Your ability to withstand pressure will be put to the test here. Because things could so easily go wrong, your position is precarious. Each move you make will have a significant effect on your prospects of success. Be very patient. Stay calm and centred. It will take time to resolve matters. Do not be tempted to take risks in an effort to hurry things along. It is at crucial times like this that all your fears and insecurities can surface. To counteract these, do not have unrealistic expectations of yourself. Just do the best you are capable of, one step at a time.
Further aspects of the situation
SIX AT THE BEGINNING
Don’t be carried away by your enthusiasm to get results. By acting hastily, you could ruin everything. As yet, you are not in a position to understand what to do for the best. Hold back and do nothing.
NINE IN THE SECOND PLACE
Prepare yourself resolutely for taking the next step but do nothing as yet. The opportunity for action will come. Do not be impatient.
SIX IN THE THIRD PLACE
You are not in a strong enough position to handle the situation on your own. Do not even try to do so. The solution is to cut your losses, get some capable help and start again.
NINE IN THE FOURTH PLACE
You have a battle on your hands. There are difficult issues to be resolved before you can achieve your aim. The struggle may be with your own ego and the problems it creates for you, or with another person. Either way, it will take all your courage and will-power to win the fight. In the end your determination will be rewarded.
SIX IN THE FIFTH PLACE
You have won through. Your patience and determination have paid off. Now the way forward is clear. Others will recognize that what you have achieved is a splendid success. You will receive their confidence and support.
NINE AT THE TOP
Your aim is about to be accomplished. This is certainly something to celebrate. But do not get carried away. If over-excitement causes you to do something foolish, you will create problems for yourself. Others will no longer trust you.
