Day 13

Okay, so where I was? Oh, right! My daily life. Today, Zack and I were talking about the North Agency when the phone rang.

- “Hello?” I said.

- “Angie, hurry up. We need you and Zack in Arlington, it’s a 1-0-5;” Carley said.

- “Wow, really? We are on our way.” I said.

Like I explained earlier, the first number indicates the creatures involved; In this case, 1 is only humans. The second number is the amount of creatures. When it’s 0, it’s because there may be hundreds of people involved and the exact number is uncertain. And the third number is the cause: 5 is for public disorder.

- “Public disorder in Arlington? Could it be…?” Zack said.

- “Maybe. Let’s go.” I said.

We headed to Arlington in our human disguises and we didn’t take long to notice what was going on. The main park was crowded, and everyone was looking at a strange-looking figure in an altar. This thing didn’t have a face, a body, nothing. It was just a… thing.

- “Back off, everyone! This is a glitch in the system. We’re from the Computer Agency and we’ll deal with it.” I said.

- “Please back off, we need some space.” Zack said.

We both built a wall and hid the thing from the public’s eyes.

- “So, another one of these, huh.” Zack said.

- “They’re getting out of hand…” I said.

The crowd quickly left after we hid the strange thing from them. This was the fifth time this thing appeared in a city, but the first time in Arlington. We had already received reports from the same glitch appearing twice in the North, once in the Central and West each, and now here.

- “We must report it to the Central as fast as we can.” I said.

- “Let’s go.” Zack said.
