Day 20

Even today, 4 years later, I still remember the first day at the agency. Carley and the others took me to rest in one of the rooms at the dorm and they gave me a quick tour of the South Herobrine Agency.

- “Right now, we are located under the bedrock, directly under Arlington city.” Carley said.

- “The… bedrock? How?” I asked her.

- “Herobrines can break any blocks in this world. That also includes bedrock of course. We’ve built our secret base under the bedrock where regular players can’t find us.”

- “Impressive…” I said.

- “We are also immune against the night monsters, we can build anything that humans can, we have super strength and we can also breathe under the water! Vince, the Master of all Herobrines, has the power to teleport, but we can’t do that like him.”

- “Vince… Master?” I asked.

- “You seem really confused, Angie. Come, let’s have something to eat and you should take a rest. Later, I will tell you everything you want to know about the Herobrine Agency, our story, our mission, and our goals. Then, you can decide whether you want to join us or not.”

I rested and Carley told me everything she knew. I kept asking her many questions which she quickly answered without thinking twice. I was feeling really safe with them, and I no longer saw the Herobrines as a threat.

- “So, Angie. What do you say? Wanna give the Herobrine Agency a try?” Carley asked me.

- “Well, I was scared to death before, but now I understand this place. Yes, I would like to join you!” I said.

- “Good. Your test will be in two days. I’ll take you home now, so you can have time to prepare for this test. It’s a physical and psychological test, by the way.” Carley said, taking me back to Arlington.

- “Wait, am I not in yet? I thought I just had to say yes or no!” I said.

- “Nope, you must take this test just like everyone else. If you pass the test, you become a Herobrine.”

- “And what if I fail?” I asked her.

- “Then your memory about Herobrines and everything related to the Agency will be wiped out.”

- “Oh… That’s bad. I really don’t want to forget anything.” I said. “In this case, I’ll do my best to pass this test!”

- “Good to hear that, Angie. And we really wish you do!” Carley said.

But this test was not nearly as easy as I expected it to be…
