Day 22

The physical test was just the first step towards passing the final test and thus, becoming Herobrine. And the physical test was simple, but tough. The Herobrines came to the city and took me to their lair once more, blindfolded.

- “The first test consists of a simple weight lifting test. It’s the only way to prove how strong you are.” Carley said.

In front of me, there was a weight to be lifted.

- “How heavy is that?” I asked them.

- “100 kilograms.” They replied.

- “WHAT?! That’s even heavier than me!” I said, desperate.

- “Give it a try, anyway.” Carley asked me.

And I tried to lift it. Of course, all of my attempts were futile – it was just too heavy for a weak body like mine.

- “I can’t…. I can’t do it.” I said.

- “Very well. To the next physical test.” Carley said. They took me to another room with a large concrete wall splitting the room in half.

- “Take this wall down with your bare hands.” Carley said.

- “You gotta be kidding me, right? I ain’t Superman! I am just a normal man!” I said.

- “Try it out.” She said.

And I tried, but once again my efforts were not enough to validate my actions. I was weak, feeble, just like any other human being. Their physical tests were way above any human’s normal capacities.

- “I really don’t know what this is all about… But I can tell you one thing, these tests are impossible. They are not meant for normal humans.” I said.

- “Yes, you didn’t complete any of the tasks you were given.” A Herobrine said.

- “So… I failed the physical test? Now I lost my chance?” I asked them.

- “Not entirely, Angie. See, you failed the physical test and now you got a 0 on it. But you still have a chance: the psychological test is even more important than the physical one. If you pass the psychological test with a decent grade, then you’ll be automatically approved in the final test.” Carley said.

- “I see! So, I really can’t miss the next one if I want to become Herobrine.” I said.

- “Exactly, And by the way, it will be held tomorrow at the Central Plaza, room number 26, in your city of Arlington.” Carley said.

- “Wait, my next test will be in the city?” I was confused.

- “Yes. You can go home now, and your final test is tomorrow at 2 PM. Remember, you must be there at 2 PM or you’ll fail. This is extremely important because the test taker, a respected professor of the Arlington University, doesn’t tolerate delays. The professor is a close friend of ours and he will evaluate your psychological capacities to be a Herobrine. Failing this test is the equivalent of failing to become Herobrine forever. Do you understand?” She told me.

- “Yes, ma’am…” I said.

- “Good. 2 PM. Don’t be late.” Carley said.

And I woke up in my house once more. It was almost 6 PM and my brother hadn’t arrived from work yet. I was going through an unimaginable experience, but I couldn’t say a word to him. And my final exam would be held the following day.
