Day 24

Ah, my dear dairy. So that’s how they conduct the tests for all Herobrines! Each region has a different set of missions: In the North, the psychological test is replaced by a simulation of a griefer destroying a building, and the examinee must stop them.

In the East, it’s quite interesting as well; the examinee must create a potion, enchantment or item, depending on their field of work, and take to an expert. But on their way, a poor person will beg for help and ask for the item they’re taking. If they’re kind enough to give out the item, they pass the test.

In other words, all regions have the exact same test, except each one has its own situations. All in all, the purpose of the test is to identify all individuals who have a good heart and are willing to help others without asking anything in exchange.

I passed my test by helping the old lady, and I had no idea what was going on at first. After passing the test, I was really happy to know that I would become a Herobrine. I left a letter to my brother before I leave our house.

- “Dear brother. In case you find this letter, please don’t be afraid. This is not a goodbye, but an apology. Sorry for not taking the time to explain to you why I left our house without telling you anything. Unfortunately, my current conditions don’t allow me to explain things in details, it’s part of my job. Don’t worry; I am not doing anything illegal! It’s a brand new opportunity that I couldn’t let go. In any case, I will return home soon enough to visit you again. I wish you the best, good luck with your job and I really hope you take the time now to find a girlfriend; you could marry her and live together! After all, you’ve got plenty of space in our house for that. Bye, and see ya soon!

Angie.”

I left the letter under my bed. This was the day before I was sent to the Agency.
