COUNT ON IT
If you find it tricky to keep your mind still whilst meditating, try using numbers as an anchor. Rather than trying not to think, using numbers allows you to redirect your thoughts instead, as they are something neutral to focus on. As you breathe, count slowly to 100 in your head. If your thoughts wander while you do this just bring them back to the counts. Do this as many times you need to: gradually your mind will become quieter.
