MAKE A TO-DO LIST
The feeling of having too much to do is one of the most common causes of stress. Whether you’re in the workplace or at home, writing down a to-do list is the first step to feeling back in control. Take a piece of paper or type into your phone every task you can think of that needs doing. Sometimes just seeing the list of things can make you feel more at ease. However, if you’re still feeling overwhelmed, organise the items on your list by priority. You might have a lot to do but perhaps only one or two items need doing today, and the rest can wait until tomorrow or a few days from now. Having a list and breaking it up into sections will give you a clearer picture of what needs doing – and make tackling it a lot more manageable.
