CRACK A SMILE
Often the last thing you feel like doing if you’re going through a difficult time is smiling. But the act of smiling can be the key to setting you on track to a more positive mood. The movement of your muscles triggers the release of endorphins, which makes us happier. It also helps to reduce levels of the stress hormone cortisol. Your brain can’t tell the difference between a real and a fake smile, so even if you’re not feeling it inside, give smiling a go.
The most important thing is to enjoy your life – to be happy – it’s all that matters.
