Meet Karen Brooks

KAREN BROOKS is the author of fifteen books. She was an academic for over twenty years, a newspaper columnist, and a social commentator. She has a PhD in English/cultural studies and has published internationally on all things popular culture, education, and social psychology. An award-winning teacher, she has taught throughout Australia and in the Netherlands. Nowadays, she finds greatest contentment writing and studying history in Hobart, Tasmania.
