How to do it...

To create a role, follow these steps:

1. Choose to add a new item to the project.
2. In the Add New Item dialog, select Security from the left-hand list and Security Role from the right.
3. Enter ConVMSVehicleManager in the Name field and click on Add.
4. Complete the Label property; this should describe to the security administrator what this duty does, such as Managers vehicle master data.
5. Complete the Description property by providing a short description to the security administrator, such as Responsible for the maintenance of vehicle records and associated set up data.
6. In the designer, drag the duties that provide full rights to the vehicle and set up menu items on the Duties node.
7. Repeat this for all the roles.
