Appendix B
FINDING A YOGA THERAPIST IN YOUR AREA

The Yoga information in this book is inspired by the teachings of T. K. V. Desikachar of Chennai (formerly Madras), India. He and his father, the late Professor T. Krishna-macharya, developed the style of Yoga known as Viniyoga. This style emphasizes practicing postures, breathing, and meditation according to your individual needs and capacity, as opposed to achieving ideal external form. For information about a Viniyoga instructor in your area contact one of the following centers for a referral.
