Sea Breeze Mocktail

So easy and good, this recipe provides a new rounded smoothness, due to the vanilla. Look for a no sugar–added cranberry juice and squeeze several pink grapefruits to get the freshest juice. For an extra festive touch, use a fresh sprig of rosemary as a swizzle stick.

Makes 3 cups; serves 3 Prep Time: 5 minutes

 

2  cups cranberry juice, preferably no sugar added

1  cup fresh or bottled unsweetened pink grapefruit juice (from 3 to 4 grapefruits)

1/2  teaspoon vanilla extract

Honey, agave nectar, or sorghum

  1. Combine the cranberry and grapefruit juices. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, or to taste. If you prefer, add a little sweetener. Serve on ice or chilled.
