Man and Dinosaurs Were Both Created on the Sixth Day
The world says that dinosaurs predated humans by “millions of years.” But the Bible says, and science has confirmed, that man and dinosaurs coexisted and were both created on the sixth day of Creation Week: “And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:24–27). Also, the very word “dinosaur” was not even invented until 1858, ten years after the publication of Charles Darwin’s Origin of Species. For all of human history prior to 1858, “dinosaurs” were called “dragons,” even in the Bible. In the Book of Job, for example, Job describes a “behemoth:” “Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox. Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly. He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together. His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron” (Job 40:15-18). Most biblical commentators believe that the word “behemoth” describes a very large dinosaur-like animal.
Furthermore, a significant amount of scientific fossil evidence shows “dinosaurs” to be thousands (not millions) of years old, and that many—perhaps even all—of the largest died after the Flood, due to environmental reasons. Many scientific journals are reporting amazing discoveries of original biological material that grew within dinosaurs! Biological remains from an extinct bird and an extinct reptile (an Archaeopteryx and a mosasaur), and even actual discoveries of dinosaur soft tissue, are being reported by many of the most famous scientific journals, including Nature, Science, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Public Library of Science, Proceedings of the Royal Society, Bone, and the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
The biological material that scientists have discovered so far in dinosaur fossils, and from these other fossils in similar rock layers, includes blood vessels, red blood cells, different proteins (including collagen and hemoglobin), and even decomposing dinosaur DNA! Also contained within these fossils are the kinds of atoms and amino acids that cannot last millions of years, but only thousands of years. All these discoveries are similar to what we find in Egyptian mummies of people who died about 4,000 years ago. Yet this soft tissue has survived in the fossils of various extinct animals and even from six species of dinosaurs, which is strong scientific evidence that they did not die out millions of years ago, but thousands. So far, the dinosaurs discovered with surviving biological material in their fossils are Hadrosaurus, the titanosaur, the ornithomimosaur (an ostrich-like dinosaur), Triceratops, Lufengosaurus (one of the smaller long-necked dinosaurs), and even the fierce-looking Tyrannosaurus rex. Scientists from North Carolina State University even found soft, flexible, and transparent blood vessels from a T. rex.
