I’M PUZZLED!
WHAT’S MISSING?
FILL IN THE BLANKS WITH THE RIGHT GROUP OF LETTERS.
PREPARATION
Separate a sheet of paper into two columns with a line or fold. Make a numbered list from 1 to 10 on the left side of the paper, leaving plenty of room to the right of each number. In the column on the right, make a lettered list from A to J.
Next, come up with ten random words. Each word should be at least six letters long. In the list on the left, draw dashes next to each number representing the letters in each word. Write in the words over the dashes, but leave out FOUR LETTERS of each word. Keep each set of the four missing letters together (in any order) and place them in the lettered list in the right-hand column.
TIP: Don’t necessarily write the four missing letters directly across from their matching words. Mix them up by placing each group in a different row.
GAME TIME
The first team to figure out all of the words in the left column wins!
