ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Ned Hayes

Ned Hayes conceived the story of Coeur d’Alene Waters when he was nineteen years old and living in northern Idaho. It is his first novel.

Mr. Hayes graduated from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington. He has subsequently been the recipient of graduate fellowships at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, and Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He studies writing in the Rainier Writing Workshop MFA in Tacoma, Washington. His forthcoming novel, Sinful Folk, also a historical novel, is set in the medieval period.
