Worked on fence yesterday. It’s not really the right time of year, we’re on the wrong chapter of the farming guide, so to speak. But we’re not that traditional in the first place. The sheep were scared of the roll of sheep mesh. They looked at it nervously and tried to get as far away from it as possible. The new silage is totally different, moist and probably richer in energy. They eat it hungrily. I fixed the saw too, the one you saw the posts into points with. There’s a few things to be getting on with. I also hooked up the electricity in the little bit of fencing where we’re trying just electric fence and no sheep mesh. Works perfectly. Quite a lot of fuss to hook up the unit in the white barn, but it feels like a good solution in the long term.
