A couple of the mums—we call them mums when they’ve just had lambs—have been nudging their lambs out of the way so they can’t suckle. We have to hold the mum still several times a day. To begin with I was really angry with them, but now I’ve come to accept that they’re just sheep. You can’t identify with these animals. They are totally different to us.
