11.12    Summary

This chapter introduced some advanced topics around modeling and developing SAP BPM processes. We explained that after the process has been deployed in SAP PO and depending on the type of flow objects used in the BPMN model, it might be necessary to perform extra configuration steps in SAP NetWeaver Administrator. We’ve also explored what is required to debug a process with errors from the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

The chapter also explored the parameters to be tuned according to the needs of your environment to increase the performance of processes. After this chapter, you should be able to squeeze more musical notes out of SAP PO.

The next chapter will explore the different ways a process implemented in SAP BPM can be combined with the different available UI technologies.
