Kanai’s Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie

Let your kids explore and play in the kitchen. Trust us! You’ll be surprised and delighted with the dishes they come up with. In the process, they’ll learn about health and whole, nourishing foods. This will set them up for later in life, when they’re taking care of themselves and their own families. When we set our son, Kanai, free in the kitchen, he conjured up this Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie. Then we helped him refine the recipe. This is a sweet and naturally delicious drink, a treat for children and grown-ups alike.
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup frozen grapes
½ cup frozen strawberries
1 giant spoonful of peanut butter (we use about 2 Tbsp.)
1 Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Frozen grapes are a perfect after-school snack, party appetizer, or late-night treat.
