On-the-Go Hemp and Almond Butter Smoothie

With more than 18 grams of plant protein, this smoothie packs a lot of goodness into just one glass. Bursting with fiber, potassium, and omegas, too, it is is a perfect breakfast for the busy parent, athlete, or business owner. It’s good to mix up your plant proteins, so we often throw this into our smoothie lineup. Nom-nom.

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 frozen banana

1 cup spinach

2 Tbsp. almond butter

2 Tbsp. hemp protein powder

2 pitted dates (preferably Medjool)

¼ cup water

4–5 ice cubes (optional)

  1     Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
