Keep me ever mindful, Lord,
My life is not to do,
My will or what seems needful,
My life belongs to You.
Your grace is all sufficient,
I need no one but You.
Your sacrifice paid for my sin,
Your mercy sees me through.
The long, hard days we toil and tire,
Are but a blink to You.
The worries and the snares of life,
Have no import, it’s true.
Please keep me on that narrow path
Where You will lead me through.
I pray my mind is always stayed
On living just for You.
“I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
—Phil. 3:14 (NKJV)
