One early morning, I looked out the window toward the West as the sun arose. The light was so bright on the woods, it seemed there were huge spotlights on it. It made me stop and think . . .
I looked outside this morning
As the sun arose so bright,
But I was looking westward
At the trees lit by the light.
That brightness made me stop and think,
How do I look to others?
Do I reflect God’s love and grace
Or indifference to my brothers?
Show me, dear Lord, how I can be
A true reflection of You.
How I can show Your goodness and love
In all I say and do.
