Oh, Lord, the wisdom of Your Word
’Tis awesome to my soul.
It gives me love and guidance
To follow is my goal.
It shows me what You’d have me do
To live my life for Thee.
Devoted to Your precepts;
True happiness for me.
When storms and rocky roads arise,
Your Word provides the source
For comfort and for answers;
For will to stay the course.
So, keep me in Your Word, oh Lord—
It keeps me strong and wise
About Your work here on this earth,
A servant in Your eyes.
