We are all so afraid of rejection.
We’re reluctant to speak up for Him.
Fearful a person will take offense
If we offer solution for sin.
With rejection sometimes comes scorning,
Scoffing, contention, and strife.
God will grant us the strength to endure these
When, for Him, we live our life.
To put all this in perspective,
We have to remember Christ’s loss.
The sorrow, pain, and derision
He suffered for us on the cross.
And, we, like our Lord, can rise above scorn
When we testify for Him.
We can know just as Christ rose to glory,
We’re victorious at the end!
