This is because well-prepared students may not produce their best work under the stressful conditions of an examination. In this chapter, I will be pointing out some of the most common mistakes that students make under examination pressure. We will also look at precautions you can take to ensure that you give your best, on this all-important day.
If you have gone through all the steps of the study process and are well prepared, the only thing that could spoil your chances of getting your ‘A’ is being in the wrong state of mind. If you are in a lousy state such as anxiety, depression or nervousness, you could end up ‘going blank’ or making lots of careless mistakes.
So the first thing you need to do is to put yourself in the most empowering state like what I have taught you in Chapter 16: Getting Empowered…In An Instant. Remember that your state of mind will affect how you feel. How you feel will affect your actions and your results. When you are in a state feeling absolutely confident, excited and empowered, you are going to produce your very best. Here are a few things you can do!
