Dancing in Valhalla - a quick word

image

Thanks for reading this far. I appreciate your support.

If you have been reading these bedtime stories to your children, you might want to stop now. Tuck them in. Say goodnight. Carry on reading in another room.

Just a suggestion.

Some people have told me that they loved Burning Roses, my first novel, exactly the way it was written. I thank each and every one of you for that.

Others have asked for a less esoteric version of the same story, without the supernatural element. Less magick. Focusing more on the youthful characters, the music, the clubs, and the bands. Keep in mind that I’ve used artistic license to pull later bands back into the 80s where necessary.

So while some of you may recognize one or two of these characters, and even some of these reshuffled scenes, I present to you the shortened emotional rollercoaster ride through the clubs, bars and gritty backstreets of Johannesburg that I call Dancing in Valhalla.

Enjoy.
