Mary caught the travel bug as a child living in London, and later, as an exchange student in France. Born a Seattleite, Mary now proudly calls herself a Parisian. Deeply in love with a Frenchman, and a mother of three, she occupies her free time hunting for the city’s best baguette and studying the delicate difference between our cultures.
As a high-school Spanish teacher in San Diego, Trish frequently took her students on summer trips to Europe, sharing her passion for language, history, culture, and cuisine. She later earned a degree in French and now uses her language and teaching skills—along with her love of travel—as a tour guide, guidebook researcher, and travel blogger at The Travelphile (https://thetravelphile.com/blog). She enjoys traveling, binge-watching favorite shows, and playing pétanque with her partner in their hometown of Edmonds, Washington.
