Emily Boller earned a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Fine Arts from Purdue University and certificates in Basic Nutrition and The Science of the Nutritarian Diet from the Nutritarian Education Institute.
Emily and her husband, Kurt, have been married for thirty-seven years, and together they have raised five children in the heart of the Midwest. She understands the challenges of healthy living in a culture bent on eating addictive and disease-causing food. After losing a child to suicide, she also knows the impact of trauma and grief on food addiction recovery as well. Besides writing and speaking, Emily is an artist who works primarily in the mediums of oil and watercolor paintings.
