"After reading the first book in Lone Star Cowboys, I was excited to read Blue Moon Over Texas. The only problem was that I couldn't put it down once I started reading it. Tory Scott has a way of making her characters come to life. I couldn't wait to see how Carol and Jake finally got together. Ms. Scott interweaves romance, suspense, and character development, keeping you turning page after page to find out what's going to happen next. I feel like I know these characters, and I can't wait for the next installment. I want to know how Logan and Megan are doing, how Carol and Jake are, and what happens to Nancy and Jean. I definitely recommend this series, but be warned- plan on having lots of reading time because you won't want to put it down!"

Beneath a Texas Star--Book Four in the Lone Star Cowboys series
"Beneath A Texas Star by Tori Scott is the fourth book in the Lone Star Cowboy series to take place in Morris Springs, Texas. I honestly thought that the second book in this series was my favorite but that was until I read this one. I loved the story of Jean and Nick so much that it is now my all-time favorite. Not just because Tori knows her cowboys and the women who love them, or that the romance that develops between Jean and Nick is realistic and pulls at the heartstrings, or that the book begins about where The Bluest Eyes In Texas leaves off - with Cooper's and Nancy's wedding, or that it has wonderful truly likable characters so that you just have to keep reading to see if they get their HEA, although that is all true. What I really liked in this story is the suspense with a bit of a twist. I should have seen it coming since there is foreshadowing done early by Jean, who does some comparison thinking concerning Nick and the "bad guy". That clue went right by me. This just goes to show that Tori Scott's writing just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for her next book!"
