Pear ‘blinis’

Slices of apple make a fantastic base for cheese and nuts. Enjoy the sweet and piquant flavours in one bite. So simple to make and completely scrumptious.
- 1 medium pear (around 130g)
- 2 tablespoons soft blue cheese (around 25g), such as Dolcelatte
- 6 pecan nut halves (around 15g), roughly broken
- 1. Top and tail the pear then cut into thin slices, 3–4mm each, removing any pips (you can also remove the core, if you prefer).
- 2. Spread the pear slices with the blue cheese and arrange on a plate. Top with the pecans and serve.
