Chapter 3: Guild's Request

*Ginger leant over a polished, well maintained wooden bridge, which arched over a small lake.*

Ginger: "Niklauseh.." *She whispered on her breath and stared at the running water, watching it glisten in between its magnificent stone prison.*

*Thick cherry blossom trees filled the village with a vibrant pink colour, which complimented the expensive-looking gardens that mazed around foreign-like houses and pathways.*

Ginger: *She glanced at her arm and noticed several blank spaces on her skin, triggering a flashback of her using the Rostical on Klaus.* (Ey, Niklauseh.. You aren't the only person that is hurting-)

*A distinctive sound of bamboo hitting solid rock could be heard, causing Ginger to snap out of her train of thought.*

Ginger: *She gracefully spun to the side and walked across the bridge, listening to the running water splash underneath it.* "If I-"

*A woman sitting in a wooden wheelchair pushed herself across a polished wooden veranda, focusing her attention on Ginger.*

?????: "Ginger?" *She shouted out to Ginger while keeping her hands on the wheels.*

Ginger: *She quickly looked to the side, staring at the woman in the wheelchair.* "Ey, Arcadia?"

Arcadia: "What are thou doing out here?" *She noticed the damages on Ginger's face, causing her to wheel closer.* "What happened?"

Ginger: *She walked around an expensive looking garden and towards the house, listening to the bamboo hit the rock again.* "Ey, Arcadia, that is not relevant."

Arcadia: "It must be relevant enough if thou have chosen to seek refuge in Sakura Village."

Ginger: *She looked up to the top of the wooden houses and admired their unusual and spectacular designs, which would give a visitor a strong foreign-like feeling.* "Perhaps I do not desire the restrictions under the ruler's order?"

Arcadia: "Thy don't understand?"

Ginger: *She squinted her eyes, watching pink leaves blow in the wind past her.* "If I stop brother's persistent dream, then he'll have nothing to chase after."

Arcadia: "That makes no sense?"

Ginger: *She stepped onto the wooden veranda, causing Arcadia to swivel the wheelchair around.* "If I beat Niklauseh in what he hopes to do, then he'll give back the planet-... It's only logical-"

Arcadia: *She gasped with widening eyes.* "Thou mean to tell me, he has stolen the planet's Aurorions?!"

Ginger: *She stopped in front of a green door with red flames engraved on it.* "Yes." *She touched the red markings, causing the door to burst into flames.*

Arcadia: "Thy will need to inform The Wise immediately-"

Ginger: "I would prefer if you didn't, ey Arcadia." *She watched the flames extinguish, allowing her to step into the house.*

Arcadia: "This goes far beyond us, Ginger!" *She quickly wheeled into the house, causing a wave of flames to close the door behind her.*

Ginger: "If you contact The Wise, they will send out The Sacred Knights."

Arcadia: *She frowned with gritted teeth.* "Thy'm sorry, Ginger. Thy must do my duty as the Diareamer.."

Ginger: "Yeoshh." *She frowned in disagreement and pushed opened a mat-like curtain, revealing a hidden room.*

Arcadia: "They must know of this." *She watched Ginger lay on one of the many silk-like mattresses which were placed across the room.* "What are thou-?"

Ginger: "Tell the winged beings-"

Arcadia: "But?" *She sounded confused, wheeling by the bed Ginger rested on.*

Ginger: "Take me with you." *She spoke in a stern-like manner and closed her eyes.*

Arcadia: (So quick.. She knew thy could not betray The Wise, so she quickly compromised and-)

Ginger: "Please respond?" *She spoke in a calm and relaxed tone, keeping her eyes closed.*

Arcadia: "Hmph." *She smirked and closed her hazel and red eyes.* "Entering the dream state-"

----------

*Trevour and Rachael ran through a grey rocky terrain, watching clouds sway across the sky.*

Rachael: "Whereabouts are we?"

Trevour: *He looked up.* "In a strange Spacial Funnel inside The Twilight Forest, boss."

Rachael: *She smiled in response, before focusing back on her surroundings.* "You sure you know which Scoldrant drops the item?"

Trevour: "Sure do! Heh heh." *He looked at Rachael with a smile and stepped over small pebbles, causing his armour to rattle.*

Rachael: "I wonder how the others are going?"

Trevour: *He enthusiastically nodded his head.* "My thoughts exactly, boss! We finally gather as a guild after those few years of training, and now we're back to our separate ways."

Rachael: *She smiled again and noticed a large rock pillar blocking the small rocky path they ran across.* "Hehe, it won't be for long."

Trevour: "I fear you're not wrong."

Rachael: "Rock Pillar." *She punched to the side, causing the large rock pillar to crumble to one side.*

Trevour: "Fantastic work, boss!"

Rachael: "Hehe, thanks!"

----------

Nathan: *He walked along a rocky ledge with his hands on his head.* "Why did I get stuck on this guild request?" *He spoke in a bored-like manner and stared at Luna and Karol's backs.*

Luna: "This wasn't my ideal party either, dickhead."

Nathan: "Okay.." *He spoke on his breath and looked up to the clear blue sky, as if he didn't care.*

Karol: "We're not a party, we're a guild!" *He folded his arms and pouted, glancing at Luna.*

Luna: "Wat's the difference? Same thing, aye?"

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She meowed in agreement.*

Karol: "Stahp!" *He covered his ears, implying he didn't want to hear Luna.*

Nathan: "A party is the word used to describe a bunch of people-"

Luna: "Usually involvin' alcohol and other stuff."

Nathan: "What?"

Luna: "Been to some crazy parties."

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She meowed in confusion.*

Nathan: "So.. A guild is much more than a group of people. It's about caring for those in your guild like they're your family."

Luna: "Pssht, that's corny as shit."

Karol: "It's trew!" *He looked at Luna as he continued to walk with them along the edge of a massive cliff.*

Nathan: "You can join a party of strangers, you can even join the enemy's party, but a guild-"

Luna: "OK, OK, I think I get it, aye."

Karol: "Nee hee." *He smiled as if he was happy Luna understood what it meant to be in a guild.*

Luna: "Still think it's lame, though." (But I'm grateful to know now.)

Destiny: "Yeup." *She meowed in agreement, as if she knew what Luna thought to herself.*

Nathan: "Man-" *He sighed and closed his eyes.* "I really wanted to pick the other quest."

Karol: "Nowh-" *He shook his head in disagreement.* "Waichael and Twevour's mission is in a rocky rev-rev-reveen and their Remenistal works great there."

Nathan: *He opened his eyes and sighed again.* "But to rescue an animal from the top of a tree.."

Luna: "Even though I agree, we already had this talk back in the city, aye. Besides, I thought you'd be all keen to save your little zoo animals."

Nathan: "Yeah, that's why I chose to protect you."

Luna: "Aha-" *She turned around and punched Nathan on the arm.* "You got me there."

Nathan: "I know we already talked about this, but I can still complain about it, right?"

Karol: "A wreal man doesn't complain about things."

Luna: "Aha, he gotcha there."

Nathan: "Hmph." *He mumbled with half a smirk and started to walk ahead.* "Let's go then!"

----------

*Lezard sat on the outside of a circular table in the middle of a peaceful grassy meadow.*

Grey: *He sat in his royal looking chair on top of a floating red glyph in the middle of the circular table.* "This is very, very concerning."

Lezard: "I know."

Grey: *He looked at Lezard in a worried-like manner.* "Is that all that happened?"

Lezard: "That's all. He noticed the grass and said he failed, the Aurorions."

Grey: "I see." *He mumbled in deep thought and concern.*

Lezard: "Your majesty?"

Grey: "Yes?"

Lezard: "Is it as bad as I think it is?"

Grey: "I'm not sure."

Lezard: "Please.." *He looked down and tightly held his hands together.*

Grey: "Yoh?" *He looked at Lezard in a curious-like manner.*

Lezard: "Father monster.. He's a very busy fellow-"

Grey: "Are you to imply I am not? Please respond."

Lezard: "That's certainly not what I meant.. Let's face it-" *He looked up and smiled with slight sadness.* "I'm really annoying."

Grey: "..."

Lezard: "As much as I love my parents, I'm sure I'd get really annoying at times, so.. I don't want to bother him if it's not urgent."

Grey: (So that's why-)

Lezard: "If there's anyone that can help you, it's father monster.. With your permission, I'd like to see him."

Grey: *He stared at Lezard and triggered flashbacks of Niklauseh and Ginger.* ".. I grant you permission."

Lezard: "You-?" *He paused in confusion, as if he wasn't expecting permission so easily.* "Thankies! Many thankies!"

Grey: "Head down to the research facility, Dawn will start tracking your Neuron signature."

Lezard: "Flaming fish-cakes! That easy?"

Grey: *He shook his head, as the glyph underneath him started to turn away.* "That's if he's not hiding his presence."

Lezard: "One last thing, your majesty."

Grey: *He glanced at Lezard, queuing the glyph to stop moving.* "Make it quick, I have a lot of research to do myself now."

Lezard: "What are Aurorions?"

Grey: *He purposely looked away with widening eyes.* "The strongest power."

Lezard: "The strongest power?"

Grey: "It's too early to explain such things."

Lezard: "We're on the same side-"

Grey: "The planet's Aurorions... To do something so far.. Am I a bad parent?" *He suddenly disappeared in a flash of purple light.*

Lezard: *He paused and observed the empty meadow.* ".. He has children?"

*Lezard hopped off the seat and started to walk away from the table.*

Lezard: "Whatever these Aurorions are, father will know." *His image faded and rippled into the air, as he suddenly stepped into a large castle-like hallway.*

*Lezard scanned the underground castle and sighed, as if he didn't want to walk anymore.*

Lezard: "Lezard watched tubes of water swirl along the ceiling, as he made his way through the very expensive-..."

*Lezard stopped in mid-sentence and thought to himself in realisation, as he continued to hobble down the hallway.*

Lezard: "We have information, but why am I so sad?"

----------

*Rachael and Trevour walked across the top of a large cliff on the side of a gigantic rocky spire.*

Rachael: "This is as far as we can go-"

*A small grey, wolf-like Scoldrant jumped on top of a pillar and looked down, growling at Rachael and Trevour.*

Trevour: *He enthusiastically gasped with a smile and looked up.* "That's it, boss!"

Rachael: "Alright!" *She punched her fists together and stood in a battle-ready pose.*

Trevour: *He stood by Rachael's side and smiled, watching wolf-like Scoldrants appear all around them.* "This is a large pack, it could get temperamental."

Rachael: "Hehe-, Piercing Land." *She kicked the ground, causing two dagger-shaped rocks to spiral next to her face.*

Trevour: "Let's do this, boss!"

Scoldrant: "Gerooo!" *It pounced off the rock pillar and sprinted towards Rachael.*

Rachael: "Animals in this world are different-" *She spun around and dropped close to the ground, slashing one of the daggers through the wolf's neck.*

Scoldrant: "Yeorp-" *It yelped and slid on its side past Rachael across the ground, lying motionless behind her.*

Rachael: "Hehe-" *She spiralled back up and stabbed one of the daggers into a leaping Scoldrant, elegantly kicking it off the cliff.*

Trevour: "DIRTCLOUD TALONS" *He spread his arms, causing strings of dirt to spiral out of his nails and towards a group of Scoldrants.*

*The pack of Scoldrants quickly leapt in different directions, avoiding the exploding dirt strings.*

Trevour: *He smiled and stepped to the side, back to back with Rachael.* "Different from your world? How so?"

Rachael: "These are canines, but we treat them like rodents."

Trevour: "Heh heh, these are Scoldrants that damage crops and kill off livestock-"

Rachael: *She kicked the ground, causing a rock pillar to shoot up and stab a wolf through its entire body.* "I see-"

Trevour: "I certainly hope you can, boss!" *He nudged his shoulder and knocked a leaping Scoldrant to the side.* "Heh heh, I'm only joking of course!"

Rachael: *She smiled and punched a Scoldrant across the face, listening to its skull crack.* (That recoil feeling I get from my punches became almost non-existent in the past year or so-)

*Rachael looked back and quickly elbowed behind her, cracking a Scoldrant's neck.*

Rachael: *She turned around and watched the dead Scoldrants suddenly puff into tiny white orbs.* "How come these enemies turn into Roharnia? I thought people only did when they had a high level of Neurons."

Trevour: "You're right, boss, but-" *He placed both hands on the ground, causing the rock to suddenly swirl into visible sand around him.*

Scoldrant: "Geroo-" *It howled in defeat as it sunk into the sand.*

Trevour: "These Scoldrants may not have significant Neurons, but in the manner they are born-"

Rachael: "Behind you!-" *She threw the dagger past Trevour and into a pouncing Scoldrant in between the eyes.*

Trevour: *He swayed to the side, watching the Scoldrant burst into tiny white orbs past him.* "Wow, that was lucky! Much appreciated, boss!"

Rachael: "In what manner were they born?"

Trevour: "It's how these Scoldrants became pests in the first place."

Rachael: "And that is?"

Trevour: "Is by how fast they reproduce-"

Rachael: "Rock Pillar." *She bent her knees and punched to the side, pinning a Scoldrant against a wall.*

Trevour: "The parents gather all their life Neurons and within a span of thirty minutes, reproduce thirty to forty spawns."

*Trevour quickly punched downwards and upwards, causing a swirling wall of dirt to blast eight Scoldrants into the air.*

Trevour: "DUST STORM"

Rachael: "That doesn't seem right-" *She back flipped and rolled across the ground, allowing her to uppercut a Scoldrant in the throat.*

Trevour: "By using their life Neurons, they can obtain a power they usually can't access. Of course, by doing this, the parents die."

Rachael: *She watched the Scoldrants burst into tiny white orbs.* "It makes sense." *She raised her fists close to her face, readying herself for another attack.*

Trevour: "Regardless, I think it's time we got serious."

Rachael: "Hehe, how'd you know?"

Trevour: "We've been training for almost three years, boss. It's something you pick up on."

Rachael: "Alright, let's do this."

Trevour: "Speaking of the training.. I also got an idea from you, too."

Rachael: "Hey?" *She looked back, smiling with anticipation.*

Trevour: *He ignored the growing pack around him.* "I taught you how to use a sand based Azure Burst, well, you unintentionally taught me how to manipulate my element as a weapon."

Rachael: *She looked at her left hand, staring at a blood-covered rock dagger.* "Yeah?"

Trevour: *He raised one hand up, causing two streams of sand to spiral up his arm.* "Temperamental sands, crush! SAND HAMMER"

*Trevour jumped forward and watched a massive hammer made of sand block out the light around him.*

Rachael: (The hammer's head is as big as his entire body!-)

Trevour: "Feel my sturdiness!" *He shouted in determination and slammed the hammer on a pack of unsuspecting Scoldrants, listening to their bones crack in the exploding sand.*

Rachael: "Wicked!" *She chuckled and focused her attention on several pouncing Scoldrants.*

----------

*Nathan, Luna and Karol gathered around a large tree and observed the area around them.*

Luna: "I don't get it, isn't this where we're meant to be?"

Karol: "Y-Yheah!" *He touched the tree and looked confused.*

Nathan: (We're meant to meet our client here, showing the way to his trapped Scoldrant-)

*A man stumbled out from behind a nearby tree, happy to see the guild.*

Man: "Thank the Astragons, you're here!"

Luna: *She glanced to each side.* "Obviously."

Man: *He noticed Luna's eyes.* "You're blind?"

Luna: "Yet, I can still see more than you, aye."

Destiny: "Yeup."

Man: "How-?"

Nathan: "About the request-" *He took a step forward, purposely interrupting.* "Where-?"

Man: *He looked up to the large tree Karol stood next to.* "Up there! Fruity-loo is up there!"

Luna: "Fruity-loo? Seriously? Like, seriously?"

Karol: *He stamped his foot and glanced at Luna and Nathan, trying to catch their attention.* "As a member of-.."

Luna: "The Fuckin' Best Guild!"

Nathan: "The Supreme Guild."

Karol: "The Remenistal Guild!"

Destiny: "Yeup!" *She meowed in sync with the others.*

Man: "P-... Pardon? Isn't this The Rostical Guild?"

Karol: "Yheah! That's us!" *He glanced at Nathan and puffed out his chest in a manly-like manner.*

?????: "Peoweow!" *A poodle-like howl caught the guild's attention.*

Man: "Up there!" *He sounded worried and stared at a small white poodle-like Scoldrant, trapped inside a cage of branches.*

Karol: "Up there!"

Luna: *She looked up in a curious-like manner.* "How-?"

Nathan: *He smirked and reached over his shoulder, grabbing onto his sword.* "This will be easy."

Man: *He looked at the sword in Nathan's hand.* (I didn't even notice-) "I thought you were Rostical Users?"

Nathan: "Haha, you ready to catch the thing, Luna?" *He mumbled in his deep voice, ignoring the man's question.*

Luna: "Pssht, how 'bout you catch it, aye." *She grabbed the bow by the string and held it into position.*

Destiny: "Yeu." *She observed the area with heightened vision, as if she was readying to guide Luna's arrow.*

Nathan: "Me?"

Karol: "A-And what abowt me?"

Luna: "Windstream Shot." *She suddenly flicked the string, shooting an arrow made of wind towards the poodle.* "Aha, dead on."

Destiny: "Yeup!"

Man: "No! You're going to hurt!-" *He watched the arrow shoot through the air and past the tree, snapping the branches around the Scoldrant.*

Karol: "Yooh did it!"

Scoldrant: "Peow!" *It howled in fear as it fell towards the ground.*

Man: "My little Fruity-loo!" *He violently grabbed his hair with each hand, squealing in terror.*

Nathan: *He quickly sheathed the sword and ran forward, spreading his arms.* "Gotcha-" *He caught the Scoldrant and quickly stepped back, watching tree branches hit the ground around his feet.*

Karol: "Nee hee! That was qwick!"

Man: "My Fruity-loo!" *He quickly ran towards Nathan and snatched the Scoldrant out of his arms.*

Nathan: "Ah?"

Man: "Here, take the reward, bye!" *He threw a pouch at Nathan and turned around, tightly hugging the Scoldrant in a fatherly manner.*

Luna: "Kool, let's beat it. The bestiality if freakin' me out." *She stared at the man in disgust.*

Karol: "Beesty, what?"

Luna: "Nothin'."

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She meowed in a curious-like manner, catching Luna's attention.*

Luna: "Wat's with that? We completed it?"

Karol: "Have a nice day, and please spread word of The Remenistal Guild."

Man: "Geheehee." *He chuckled with happiness.* "Sure thing! I've already heard good things about you."

Karol: *He smiled and turned around with a child-like grin on his face.* (That makes me really happy-)

Nathan: *He mumbled and glanced at the trees around him.* "It doesn't make sense."

Karol: "Nafan?" *He looked up, staring at Nathan in a curious-like manner.*

Luna: "Yea, wat is it now?"

Nathan: "The Scoldrant.."

Luna: "Wat about it?" *She grunted in an annoyed-like manner, as if she wanted Nathan to explain himself quicker.*

Nathan: "How did it get up there?"

Karol: "Uhm?" *He looked up and frowned child-like in thought.* "He clymbed up!"

Nathan: "That type of Scoldrant can't climb well."

Luna: *She noticed Nathan's seriousness, causing her to glance at Destiny.* "Maybe you're right, aye. Destiny was actin' a little weird too."

Destiny: "Yeup.." *She observed her surroundings, as if she was trying to find something.*

Karol: "I dhon't understand?"

Nathan: "And did you see the way it was trapped in those branches?"

Luna: "Yea, it was like a cage." *She spoke in curiosity, as she slowly walked away.*

Karol: "The twee's bwanches? I..?" *He closely followed Nathan and Luna as he continuously glanced between them, trying to understand where the conversation was going.*

Nathan: *He mumbled in realisation and quickly turned back around.* "We need to head back!"

Luna: "Gah, why?" *She stopped and leant to one side with a frustrated frown.*

Karol: "Why?"

Nathan: (Dammit.)

Karol: "Nafan?"

Nathan: "A Wah-Whakatah."

Luna: "A wafatakatah? Da fuck?"

Karol: "What are they?"

Nathan: "Come on!" *He started to run back, causing Luna and Karol to run after him.*

Destiny: "Yeup! Yeup!" *She meowed at Nathan, as if she was agreeing with him.*

Luna: "Wanna explain?"

Nathan: "Wah-Whakatah are rare Scoldrants that take the shape of trees-" *He ran into the small clearing and noticed the large tree, holding the man and Scoldrant upside down by two thin branches.*

Karol: "W-Woah!" *He squealed in shock and instinctively hid behind Luna.*

Nathan: "Thought you were a man?"

Karol: "I-I'ma man." *He tried to overcome his fear and placed his head against Luna's back.*

Luna: *She looked up with widening eyes.* "I.. I guess it wouldn't be a fantasy world without killin' some tree-like monsters."

*The tree growled from a face engraved in bark on its stump, as it slithered its branches around it.*

Nathan: *He smiled and unsheathed his sword.* "Let's complete the request!"

Luna: *She pulled the string to her arrow and smirked.* "Wateva."

Karol: "I'm-.. I'ma man." *He twitched in fear as the tree growled again.*

Destiny: "Yeup!" *She hopped on Luna's head, giving her a better eyesight on the landscape.*

Man: "H-Help!" *He trembled in fear, preventing him from properly yelling out.*

Scoldrant: "Peowpeow." *It howled softly in fear, catching the man's attention.*

Man: "Fruity-loo.."

Nathan: "Let's do this! Air Slash."

Luna: "Windstream Shot."

----------

Lezard: "Our one and only, Lezard, walked into the facility to notice the delicious Dawn doing her usual business-"

Dawn: "For research!" *She angrily pointed at a Rosterology console, causing the researcher sitting behind it to cower down.*

Researcher: "Y-Yes!"

Dawn: "Ensure to tell me when the Neurons have infused with the experimental shield next time!"

Researcher: "My apologies, ma'am! I know for next time."

Dawn: *She adjusted her glasses and turned around with a sigh, noticing Lezard staring at her.* "Yes?"

Lezard: "It's me!"

Dawn: "I don't have time for this-" *She shook her head, as if she couldn't remember Lezard.* "Research waits for no man-"

Lezard: "I come here all the time! Ooo, how could you forget me?!" *He shook his bottom to each side, triggering Dawn with many flashbacks of him responding in a similar manner.*

Dawn: "Oh.. Yes.. Research and I remember you now." *She spoke with no enthusiasm and carefully moved all the valuable and breakable items away from Lezard.*

Lezard: "Bwarharh, still annoyed at me for breaking those-"

Dawn: *She pinched her glasses with two fingers and adjusted them.* "What can I help you with?"

Lezard: "Well-.." *He suddenly looked serious.* "Under order of Grey-"

Dawn: "His majesty?" *She spoke in shock and quickly waved to a chair, causing it to slide itself along the ground behind Lezard.* "Please." *She sat down on a seat and leant to one side, as if she was ready to access the console next to her.*

Lezard: "Thankies-" *He sat on the chair and wiggled his bottom to make himself more comfortable.* "Grey said he will get Ordin to brief you properly."

Dawn: "So?" *She looked at Lezard in curiosity as if she was wondering why he was there.*

Lezard: "I'd like to request you and your research's help. To help locate father monster."

Dawn: "Father monster?" *She looked at Lezard like he was an idiot.*

Lezard: "Yuppers. Grey and myself believe he could help us out.. So we need to find him."

Dawn: (It wouldn't be serious if Grey himself requested it.) *She looked at Lezard in thought.* (I'll be able to verify his word before I give him the coordinates-)

Lezard: "I have no idea what he is doing now-"

Dawn: "Last I heard from his majesty, is that father mon-, the Consultant was doing his own research regarding the Unknown Territories."

Lezard: "The Unknown-" *Dawn's words triggered a flashback of the Astragon Projection.* "He mentioned the Unknown Territories too-"

Dawn: "Pardon?"

Lezard: ".. Nothing. Please tell Lezard more."

Dawn: "He was involved with three activations of the ancient ruins."

Lezard: "Activations? The Unknown Territories are the only places left uncharted, how could you know-"

Dawn: "Please." *She spoke with a smile and ran her hand along the console.* "Research knows no bounds."

Lezard: "Okies.." *He spoke with a fake smile.*

Dawn: *She noticed his sad face.* "Okay-" *She pressed a button on the console, causing a red camera-like flash to blind Lezard.*

Lezard: "Ooo, what was that-?"

Dawn: "We can use your Neurons and scan the continents for your father."

Lezard: "Ooo." *He sarcastically giggled with slight sadness.*

Dawn: "I'll contact you as soon as research has found anything."

Lezard: "How? I'm in a guild now-"

Dawn: *She pointed to the glyphic-like ring on Lezard's finger.* "It will overload the glyph with Neurons-"

Lezard: *He hissed and repelled his finger.* "That could blow it off!"

Dawn: "Please. You will feel a slight burning sensation."

Lezard: "Okies. When you find father monster, I'll have my own personalised alarm?"

Dawn: "Yes?"

Lezard: "Bwarharh, deliciously succulent!"

Dawn: "Is.. There anything else?"

Lezard: "No-"

Dawn: "Out!" *She shouted and pointed to the door behind Lezard.*

Lezard: "Dawn.. Thankies." *He spoke in a serious-like manner.*

Dawn: *She smiled and nodded her head.* "Who are you again?"

Lezard: "Bwarharh."

Dawn: "Hmh." *She smiled and started to type on the console.* (First time he smiled in seriousness.)

Lezard: "I guess I'll-" *He stood up and started to leave.*

Dawn: *She sighed and stared at Lezard's back.* "Go into the library from across the hall. You can find some less serious books that could cheer you up."

Lezard: "Books?" *He mumbled to himself and stopped at the door.* "Don't be a silly sausage, I don't need cheering up."

Dawn: *She watched red lines scan a picture of the continent in squares.* "Scanning for related Neuron usage..." *She mumbled to herself, casually ending the conversation with Lezard.*

Lezard: "Thankies." *He looked down to his feet and smiled.* (This weird feeling.. It's like, I know something bad is going to happen? I just don't know what.. These old bones certainly don't like this feeling.)

*Lezard looked up and walked into the room opposite to the research facility.*

Lezard: "Ooo-" *He observed the area around him, staring at enormous wooden shelves filled with different sized books.*

*Lezard hobbled further into the library-like area, noticing the sudden silence.*

Lezard: "Several people sat around square tables in a library-like room, reading ridiculously thick books-"

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Snappy." *He spoke to himself and hobbled towards a Rosterology console.* "Umm, jinkies, where to start? Funny books?"

Rosterology Console: "Section four, dash, Midnight Adventures."

Lezard: "Okies.. Section four." *He glanced across the library and noticed a large four on the floor.*

*A man wearing a green frog-like Scoldrant onesie walked down the aisle, holding a stack of books.*

Lezard: *He walked into the aisle and instantly noticed the man's onesie, causing him to gasp while shaking his bottom in excitement.* "Holy fish-cakes! Look at you!"

Onesie Man: "Harm?" *He lowered the stack of books, allowing him to get a better look at Lezard.* "How can I help you?" *He whispered each word, as if he wasn't allowed to talk.*

Lezard: "Bwarharh, shouldn't you be hopping-?"

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Onesie Man: "I gotta go." *He whispered and raised the books, before walking out of the aisle.*

Lezard: "Where did you get that delicious onesie? I want to get one-"

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Sad face." *He lowered his head and staggered down the aisle.*

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Jinkies! I didn't even say anything-" *A small, think black spine of a book caught Lezard's attention.* "Oh?"

*Lezard pulled out the pocket-sized book and felt the damages due to its old appearing lifetime.*

Lezard: "Midnight Adventures? Why is it called that-?" *He opened the book and read out a small handwritten line, mixed with dirt and blood on the corners of the page.*

*Lezard coughed to himself and stood closer to the shelves so he wasn't blocking the aisle.*

Lezard: "Adventures aren't about the fighting, travelling or the earnings, it's the small things, like smiling."

*Lezard shook his head as if he had trouble reading and skipped several torn pages.*

Lezard: "Well, that grammar hurt poor Lezard, critical hit!" *His hissed at the book in an unimpressed-like manner.*

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Jinkies.." *He whispered and started to read.* " What do you..? A vest... Bwarharharharharharh-"

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Who-.." *He quickly looked around and noticed a woman wearing a matching blue, bird-like Scoldrant scarf and bag, causing him to quickly hobble up to her.*

Woman: "Y-Yes?" *She cautiously looked at Lezard and placed her hand in the bag, as if she was ready to defend herself.*

Lezard: "I thought, how could a book cheer poor old Lezard up? But holy fish-cakes I was wrong!" *He waved the book in the woman's face, listening to the pages flap together.*

Woman: "I-, ahm?" *She glanced to each side in an uncomfortable-like manner, as if she wanted to leave.*

Lezard: "The very first line-. Ahem." *He opened the book and started to read.* "What do you call an alligator in a vest? An investigator. Bwarharharharh!"

Readers: "Shhh." *Several readers attempted to hush Lezard by placing a finger on their lips.*

Lezard: "Bwarharh!" *He hobbled down the aisle while shaking his bottom to each side.* "This book fills Lezard with joy!"

*Lezard waved the book in the air while hobbling outside the library, causing many people to sigh in relief.*

----------

*Trevour stood behind an eruption of sand as he slammed the sand-hammer into the ground.*

Rachael: *She watched the sand string past Trevour with a smile.* "Awesome work, Trev!"

Trevour: *He leant back and twiddled his fingers, watching the sand lose its image into the ground.* "Heh heh, you're too kind, boss."

Rachael: *She watched the remaining few Scoldrants burst into tiny white orbs.* "Do you see it?"

Trevour: "Umm-" *He scanned through the bundles of white orbs, as if he was looking for something.*

Rachael: "Nothing?"

Trevour: "No, wait-" *He spoke with a smile and watched a medium sized floating block of meat appear from within the orbs.* "H-Here!"

Rachael: "Really?" *She spoke with a smile and jogged up to Trevour, staring at the drop item.* "Is that-?"

Trevour: "This is the request-" *He took a step forward and grabbed the floating piece of meat before it fell to the ground.* "The rare Wolfbane Meat."

Rachael: "How come it's all nice and chopped up?"

Trevour: "Heh heh. Your first time seeing a rare Scoldrant drop?"

Rachael: "But-?" *She watched Trevour wrap the meat up with sheets they collected beforehand.* "How?"

Trevour: "These things just happen." *He turned around and faced Rachael.* "We grow up with this sort of thing, so even though it's not really explainable, we're used to it."

Rachael: "True. But why was it all cut up, like it was all ready to be served as a dish?"

Trevour: "Oh! That's due to the Astragons."

Rachael: "Astragons, space, got it." *She spoke with a smile and observed the area around her, noticing many rock pillars that weren't there before, due to their fight.*

Trevour: "Our request isn't completed yet."

Rachael: "We have to take the meat back to the person?"

Trevour: "Correct, boss. We're meeting her just outside this Spacial Funnel."

Rachael: "Shall we?" *She readied to leave.*

Trevour: "After you, heh heh." *He waved his hand, implying for Rachael to go first.*

Rachael: *She looked up and watched the tiny orbs continue to float into the sky and out of her sight.* "As we were nearing the last twenty, I was beginning to worry we wouldn't get it."

Trevour: *He smiled and wiped a thin layer of sweat off his forehead, nodding his head in agreement.* "It is a rare item. It's almost frustrating in a way, that it was the last Scoldrant to drop the item."

Rachael: "Hehe, yeah. Still wicked we got it though."

Trevour: *He admired Rachael's bouncy-like attitude.* "You aren't tired?"

Rachael: "Nope." *She walked in a jog-like manner, listening to Trevour's armour rattle.* "So."

Trevour: "So." *He chuckled and held the meat covered in blankets in both arms.*

Rachael: "I didn't want to ask because we weren't really close back then, and the fact it's been very busy to ask such questions, but I like to think we're friends now-"

Trevour: "O-Of course, boss!" *He walked slightly faster to get a better look at Rachael's facial expressions.*

Rachael: "Could you please tell me more about your family?"

Trevour: "Oh.." *He sounded less enthusiastic, as if he was hoping to talk about something else.*

Rachael: "It's cool if you don't-"

Trevour: "Alan.. He's the oldest sibling from my family. He was always the most stubborn and arrogant-" *He walked down the grey rocky terrain, watching the colourless clouds sway across the sky.*

Rachael: "Aren't all older siblings?"

Trevour: "Heh heh. He acts out the parental role, trying to keep the three of us in check."

Rachael: "Oh?"

Trevour: "Then you have Felipe. He's-"

Rachael: "He's the one I met at The Agoura Marbles, right?" *She noticed she interrupted Trevour.* "Oops, sorry, hehe."

Trevour: "Heh heh, that's quite alright, boss. And no, that was Alan."

Rachael: "Please." *She nodded her head as if she wanted Trevour to continue while she hopped over large boulders.*

Trevour: "Felipe, he's strong at manipulating lava, but not so great at ground, well, compared to Alan and Rosemary."

Rachael: "Tell me more about Rosemary, please."

Trevour: "She's very kind and always looked out for me. She treated everyone well and was the reason why I was able to stay at home for so long."

Rachael: "What does that mean?"

Trevour: "I eventually got kicked out."

Rachael: "By your own family?"

Trevour: "Yes. They were disgusted I could never achieve the level two elemental affinity."

Rachael: "What are level two?"

Trevour: "Well, for example, fire eventually turns into either lightning or lava."

Rachael: "Two?"

Trevour: *He nodded his head.* "It depends on the user."

Rachael: "And the others?" *She smiled with satisfaction, as if she was happy she was learning.*

Trevour: "Wind eventually turns into lightning. Ice turns into water or vice-versa."

Rachael: (Vice versa? I would've imagined ice being stronger than water, but after learning how to use Dust Storm, I understand how hard manipulating free-moving elements can be-) "And what about ground?"

Trevour: "Lava.."

Rachael: "But I've heard a few people say sand or dirt is the next stage above rock."

Trevour: "My siblings are living proof that's not the case."

Rachael: "I still think you're amazing."

Trevour: "Heh heh, thank you, boss."

Rachael: "What about your parents? I don't like to think they'd let your siblings treat you in such a manner."

Trevour: "Well.. That's all I'd like to say for now." *He smiled with sadness, causing Rachael to look away in understanding.*

Rachael: (Did something happen to his parents?)

Trevour: "Well, if you don't mind me asking, boss. Could you tell me more about this Ashton gentleman?"

Rachael: "Ash?" *She spoke on her breath and looked down with a smile.*

Trevour: *He noticed Rachael's strange behaviour, causing him to stutter in understanding.* "What shall we do after this quest? Check and see if Lezard has found anything out about-?"

Rachael: "Ash, he's my partner."

Trevour: "Partner?"

Rachael: "Yeah. The most kind hearted person you'll ever meet.. He's the reason why I want to go back to Earth."

Trevour: "Oh.. He means that much to you?"

Rachael: "Of course. I guess you could say, I'm hopelessly in love with him."

Trevour: "In.. In love?" *He sounded surprised and confused, as if he didn't want to hear it.*

Rachael: "I usually don't like talking about Ashton or how I feel to strangers, but-" *She looked at Trevour with a widening smile.* "We're friends now, hey."

Trevour: "Y-Yeah, friends heh heh.. You really love him, don't you, boss?"

Rachael: *She nodded her head.* "There hasn't been a day where I haven't stopped thinking about him.. That strong urge to protect and be protected by him, just thinking about him makes me feel all warm and safe."

Trevour: "Boss?"

Rachael: "I.. I love him more than anything else, he's.. He's my will to keep going."

Trevour: "..."

Rachael: "Sorry to bore you, hehe, I know some guys aren't really fond of this talk."

Trevour: "Oh, it's fine. I asked, remember? Heh heh."

Rachael: "One day.. One day, I'll get to see his lame smile once again."

Trevour: (I.. I love him more than anything else, he's.. He's my will to keep going.) *Rachael's voice echoed inside his head, causing him to discreetly form fists.*

Rachael: *She noticed a warp in the air, causing her to slow down.* "I think we're here."

Trevour: "Right you are, boss." *He sighed and mentally prepared himself, allowing him to smile in a happy-like manner.*

Rachael: "Thanks for the chat, Trev."

Trevour: "..."

Rachael: "Trevour?"

Trevour: "Oh-" *He coughed and nodded his head.* "Any time, boss."

Rachael: "Hehe." *She giggled and stepped through the warped air, causing her image to fade out of sight.*

Trevour: "Ashton.. He must be an amazing person to win the heart of someone like Rachael." *He spoke to himself and followed Rachael through the warped air, causing his image to disappear.*

----------

*Swaying tree branches suddenly exploded, dropping the man and poodle-like Scoldrant on to the ground.*

Nathan: "You! Get out of here! We'll hold off the Wah-Whakatah."

Man: "R-Right! Fruity-loo!"

Scoldrant: "Peowpeow."

Karol: *He watched the man leave with his Scoldrant.* "Nafan? Loona?"

Nathan: *He pointed the sword at the moving tree.* "We'll weaken it and then retreat."

Luna: "Windstream Shot." *She flicked the string and shot an arrow of wind to the side of Nathan, exploding a wine-like branch away from him.*

Nathan: "Huh?" *He watched splinters of bark spiral past his face.*

Luna: "You're the one with the sword, go on." *She nudged her head at the tree, implying for Nathan to run towards it.*

Nathan: "Fine!"

Luna: "Fine then!"

Karol: *He watched Luna and Nathan shout at each other face to face.* "Shouldn't we be fowcusing on the Scoldrant-?"

Nathan: "Whatever."

Luna: "Wateva!"

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Vine Brush." *Vine-like branches whipped past Nathan, cutting his cheeks open.*

Nathan: "Argh!-"

Luna: "Nath!"

Karol: "Nafan!"

Nathan: *He slid back with squinted eyes and quickly faced the Scoldrant.* "You two get back!"

Luna: *She frowned.* "I'm not weak, I can-"

Nathan: "How can I protect you?!" *He shouted in determination and placed his right hand on the sword's tip, as his body glowed a shade of blue.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Vine Brush." *It whipped its vine-like branches and swayed them towards Nathan.*

Nathan: *He opened his eyes and watched the vines whip the sword, noticing they flicked back in a repelled-like manner with each hit.* "Great Div-"

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oarrrrrrr-" *Its bark made mouth creaked, causing more branches to whip at Nathan.*

Luna: "O-Oi!" *She screamed at the tree.* "Why are ya only attackin' him?!"

Destiny: "Yeup!"

Nathan: (I can't use my Azure Burst with these consecutive hits!-) *His face violently rocked to each side.*

Karol: "Defence Up." *He started to dance, causing a small sigil-like glyph to draw itself underneath Nathan.*

Nathan: *He noticed the vines no longer moved him with each hit.* "Thanks!"

Karol: "We're men! We pwotect each other!"

Luna: "Pssht-" *She pulled the string to her bow and shot an arrow of wind in front of Nathan, bursting all the branches away from him.*

Nathan: "Hmph-" *He readjusted his grip on the sword and readied to charge towards the Scoldrant.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "LIFA BLOSSOM"

Karol: *He stopped dancing, causing the sigil-like glyph to fade away.* "Lifa Bwossom?"

Luna: "Sounds gay-" *She suddenly choked, as a vine burst out of the ground, wrapping itself around her neck and feet.*

Destiny: "Yeup! Yeup!" *She hissed and started to gnaw on the vine, attempting to bite it off.*

Nathan: "Luna!" *He shouted with growing panic and glared at the vines.* "Air-"

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Growth Tuck." *It suddenly withdrew all of its branches, flicking Luna over the ledge.*

Luna: *She dangled upside down, suddenly looking up at the sky as Destiny rolled over in disorientation.* (Shit, shit, shit-)

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She quickly attached herself on the back of Luna's head, allowing them both to see the violent ocean below them.*

Luna: "Oh shit-"

Nathan: "I'm coming, Luna, Destiny!" *He shouted in a worried-like manner.* "Ougi."

Karol: *He staggered back, watching the entire area around him come to live as more branches swayed into the air.* "N-Nafan-"

Nathan: *He started to shake his wrist, causing the sword to unnaturally vibrate.* "Let her go!" *He jumped towards the tree and raised his arm, causing the sword's image to move like a snake.*

Karol: *He watched the top of Luna's leg move up and down from behind the ledge.* "If she falls from that hight..." *He squealed in shock.*

Nathan: "Hah!" *He waved the sword to each side, causing the branches to explode away from him.*

Karol: *He watched Nathan slowly march deeper into the forest of moving branches.* (The bwanches are breaking before they even touch Nathan or his sword-)

Nathan: "Hahh!" *He shouted and ignored thick veins which bulged around his right shoulder.*

Karol: *He intensely stared at Nathan, watching him slowly stagger towards the ledge where Luna screamed from.* (Pwease.. Make it-)

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oarrrrr." *It continued to whip its branches towards Nathan, watching them explode closer and closer to Nathan, as if his attack was growing weaker.*

Nathan: (I'm sorry, Luna.. I don't think I can-)

Karol: "Nafan!" *He squealed at the top of his lungs and kicked the ground, causing an expanding orange glyph to spread from his foot.* "Power Up."

*Karol started to dance with enthusiasm, causing the glyph to spread under Nathan.*

Nathan: *He listened to the change of sound in his sword, causing the branches to explode much farther away from him.* (It isn't hurting as much to move my sword with this speed-)

Karol: "Swave Loona!"

Nathan: "Karol?" *He stepped to the side and waved his snake-like sword down, exploding all the branches to his right.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oaarr! LIFA BLOSSOM" *It croaked with an echo, as more branches erupted out of the ground around Nathan.*

Nathan: (With every cut, my confidence continues to grow-) *He glanced at his hand around the sword, noticing shards of wood jabbing into his skin.*

Karol: "Pwease, Nafan!"

Luna: *The branch around her foot tightened, causing a loud crack to be heard.* "Urgh!" *She screamed in pain, alerting Nathan, Destiny and Karol.*

Destiny: "Yeup! Yeup! Yeuu!" *She hissed in pain, as if she felt it too.*

Nathan: *He glanced at the orange glyph under him and continued to run towards the ledge.* (Even with this glyph, my power isn't enough!) "Double Slash."

*Nathan visible swayed his blurred arm twice, listening to two 'vsssht'-like sounds, as several branches crumbled to dust.*

Nathan: *He frowned in determination and jumped off the ledge, ignoring the bursting splinters of bark around him.* "Luna!"

Karol: "Naf!-" *He gasped, watching Nathan fall out of his sight.* "Nafan!"

Luna: *She gasped in shock and looked up to her side, watching Nathan grab hold of a branch.* "Dickhead?"

Nathan: *He hung off the branch by Luna's side.* "Give me your hand!"

Destiny: "Yeup?!" *She meowed in shock, as if she wasn't expecting Nathan to be there.*

Luna: *She noticed Nathan's sword revert back to normal, as he stopped moving his wrist.* "Your arm-?"

Nathan: "Take my hand!" *He tried to reach forward to grab Luna.* (Dammit! She's too far away!)

Luna: *She squirmed, trying to reach Nathan.* "I can't!"

Destiny: "Yeu, yeup!" *She readied to hop down Luna's arm to see if she can extend the reach.*

Nathan: "Don't, Destiny! You'll fall-" *He grabbed the branch with both hands to prevent him from falling.*

Luna: "Wat the fuck can we do then?!"

Nathan: "Use your lightning arrow!"

Luna: "My wat?"

Nathan: "You used it before!"

Luna: "I dunno how to do that! I only manipulated gastly's lightning-"

Nathan: *He paused in thought and suddenly gasped with a smile.* "I'm not a fan of Rostical, but learning elemental affinities should be similar to Azure Bursts."

Luna: "Harh?" *She grunted with gritted teeth, as blood ran up her leg from the branch.*

Nathan: "I tried to learn the Azure Burst, number forty five."

Luna: "Aye?"

Nathan: "Sorry-" *He chuckled, shaking his head.* "Streaming Sword."

Luna: "I'm not in the mood to be learnin' shit right now! If you haven't noticed, I forgot to bring a pen!"

Nathan: "Even though I couldn't grasp the element, this is what many people did-" *He raised the sword in pain and slashed the rocky cliff next to him, causing a line of sparks to splinter off the stone.*

Luna: "So?"

Nathan: "It may be different from manipulating lightning, but use the sparks!"

Luna: "How the fuck can I do that?!"

Destiny: "Yeup!"

Nathan: "An Elementalist would have no problem!"

Luna: "But-" *She paused, shaking her head.* (I'm getting light-headed-)

Nathan: "Do it!" *He slashed the sword across the cliff, causing his face to momentarily light up from the sparks.*

Luna: "Gah-" *She swayed her hand, causing a swirl of wind to elongate the sparks.* "H-Huh?"

Nathan: "See! Again!-"

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Ougi, oarrr!" *It dragged itself towards the cliff, as if it was ready to finish off Nathan and Luna.*

Karol: "H-Huh? Isn't this fowest its Ougee?!" *He squealed to himself.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Thorn Shrewfield!" *Its echoing croaks caused large thorns to burst out of the branches.*

Nathan: *He heard wood-like cuts, drawing his attention to the thorny vines.* (We don't have long-) "Keep at it!"

Luna: "OK-" *She tried to calm herself down and waited for Nathan to cause more sparks.*

Nathan: "Hah!" *He slashed the sword across the rocks.*

Luna: "Gah!-" *She swayed to the side, causing strings of electricity to flash from the growing sparks.*

Nathan: *He squinted his eyes and watched the lightning flash away.* "You almost did-"

Luna: "Again!"

Nathan: *He smiled and slashed the sword once again.* "Now!-"

Luna: *She swayed her arm, causing strings of electricity to swirl past Nathan and around her hand.* "I got this!"

Nathan: "You need to shoot the Scoldrant's nervous system!"

Luna: "Where the fuck is that-?!"

Destiny: "Yeu, yeu!" *She meowed in agreement and observed the tree with inverted vision, focusing her attention on a crack in between two large branches.*

Luna: *She pulled the string back, causing the electricity to form itself into a lightning arrow.* "Seraphic Volt."

Destiny: "Yeup!" *She meowed with widening eyes, ensuring Luna had perfect vision on her target.*

Luna: "Gah!-" *She released the string, shooting the arrow made of lightning into the tree's branches.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oarrr!" *It croaked in pain, as lightning sparked down its vine-like branches.*

Nathan: *He noticed the branches around him lose their life-like movements.* "Now!-"

Luna: *The branch around her feet loosened, allowing her to reach Nathan.* "Sh-Shit-"

Nathan: "Gotcha-" *He tightly held onto Luna and looked up.* "Karol!"

Karol: *He glanced across towards Nathan's voice, shaking his head.* "I kan't see yooh!"

Nathan: "Karol! Power it up, only on this branch!" *He shouted and tugged on the branch, showing Karol which one to focus on.*

Karol: *He danced with his arms and spun around, causing a small sigil-like glyph to form around the branch.* "Power Up."

Luna: "Why do you want to power this fucker up?!"

Tree-like Scoldrant: *It swayed the branch Nathan, Luna and Destiny hung off and threw them up into the air with heightened strength.* "Oar-?"

Luna: "Arh!?"

Karol: "Everwyone!" *He watched Luna, Nathan and Destiny hit the ground in relief.*

Luna: "Fuck.." *He grunted with a loss of breath, lying on her back.*

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oarr!" *It slowly turned around in confusion, as if it wasn't expecting to throw Nathan and Luna right over its body.*

Nathan: *He quickly grabbed the sword and slashed behind him.* "Air Slash."

Tree-like Scoldrant: "Oar-" *The air slash hit its stump and pushed it back, as its body was still weakened from the lightning.*

Karol: *He stopped dancing and ran towards the guild, tripping on his own foot.* "Wah-" *He landed face-first into the ground.* "Owch!"

Nathan: *He ignored his throbbing arm and leant over Luna, ensuring she was okay.* "We did it?"

Luna: "Aye?" *She looked behind her and watched the tree fall off the cliff in shock.* "How?"

Nathan: "It was violently moving its branches through the ground, combined with losing its strength and being near the cliff-" *He rocked his head to the side, as if the rest was obvious.*

Luna: "Aha, nice."

Nathan: *He smiled and looked Luna in the eyes.* "Ha ha."

Luna: *Her smile slowly faded into seriousness, as she stared at Nathan's lips.* "Thanks, aye."

Nathan: *He dropped the sword and placed one hand on Luna's face.* "We thought we lost you."

Luna: *She rested flat on her back, staring up at Nathan who leant over her in a protective-like manner.* "Oh...?"

Destiny: "Yeu?" *She purred to herself, listening to Luna and Nathan's heartbeat.*

Nathan: "Don't scare me like that-"

Luna: *She pushed her head up and closed her eyes, kissing Nathan on the lips.* (Oh my god!-)

Nathan: *He closed his eyes and passionately kissed Luna back.* "..."

Destiny: *She listened to their heartbeats grow with rapid beats.* (Yeup?)

Nathan: *He rested his left arm over Luna on the ground.* (This feels-) *He smiled with his eyes closed, as he continued to kiss Luna.*

Luna: (I can feel his smile-) *She smiled back, keeping her eyes closed.*

Karol: *He looked up and noticed Nathan and Luna kissing.* "Eww."

Nathan: *He leant back and stared at Luna, admiring her face.* "Umm."

Luna: "So.. You like stuff?" *She smiled, listening to Destiny purr in happiness.*

Karol: "Stahp! You will get cooties!" *He slowly stood up and walked towards Nathan and Luna.*

Nathan: "Ha ha, you'll understand when you're a man."

Karol: "I am-, I'ma, a man!"

Nathan: "Well-" *He spoke in a deep voice, glancing at Luna with blushing cheeks.*

Luna: "That.. Felt nice." *She mumbled with blushing cheeks and shyly looked away.*

Nathan: (Felt nice?) *He thought to himself with widening eyes, triggering a flashback.*

----------

*A young man and woman stood in the middle of a forest, next to a small glittering lake.*

?????: "Nathan, we can't!" *A woman with white hair and blue eyes shook her head and turned away with her back facing him.*

*A younger appearing Nathan stepped forward and grabbed her arm, turning her around.*

Nathan: "Bell, it doesn't matter."

?????: "..." *She looked down, avoiding eye contact.*

Nathan: "Isabella!"

Isabella: "I-" *She looked up and shook her head.* "You're a Scoldrant User, I'm a Fore Hunter."

Nathan: "So-?!"

Isabella: "It can never work out!" *She shouted with watering eyes, as if she didn't agree with what she was saying.*

Nathan: "Please-"

----------

Nathan: "Isabella!" *He shouted in fear, causing Luna to lean back.*

Luna: "W-Who?"

Nathan: "I-.." *He gritted his teeth in recollection and stood up, picking up his sword.* "We should head back."

Luna: "Isa.. Bella?"

Nathan: "Don't.. Just don't." *He mumbled with regret and faced Karol.* "Let's go."

Karol: *He watched Nathan slowly stagger away, as if he was overcome with different feelings.* "Nafan?"

Nathan: *He tried to hide his sadness with a frown, trying to hold back his tears.* (Men don't cry.. You're a man, Nathan-)

Luna: "You fucking faggot fuck!" *She screamed with growing emotion and angrily stood up.*

Karol: "L-Loona?"

Nathan: "...-" *He discreetly gasped with widening eyes.*

Luna: "Nah, fuck this aye!" *She unintentionally screamed at Karol and focused all her attention to Nathan's back.*

Nathan: (For a splitting moment.. You made me almost forget about her, Luna.)

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She meowed at Luna, noticing she stormed after Nathan without her.*

Luna: *She stared at her own back, causing her to turn around.* (What's different? Nothing? Why do I get so upset? It's always the same thing-)

Karol: *He noticed Luna's face become emotionless, causing him to look confused.* "I'm so confoosed."

Destiny: "Yeup?" *She meowed in confusion, as she slowly hopped towards Luna.*

Luna: "Aha, it's all good, shithead." *She spoke with a smile and straightened her arm, allowing Destiny to hop up onto her shoulder.*

Karol: "Uhm?"

Luna: "Let's go, aye." *She sniffed with a smile and started to walk away.*

Destiny: "..." *She silently stared at Luna.*

Karol: *He scratched his head in confusion.* "Ohkay!"

----------

*Lezard hobbled down the road-like path and happily ate a kebab while reading from his book.*

Lezard: "Bwarharh, another funny one! I can't wait to show the little monsters-"

*Lezard gasped in shock and stared at the entrance in realisation, causing him to giggle while shaking his bottom to each side.*

Lezard: "I should be meeting them outside soon!" *He giggled again and made his way towards the entrance, causing the ring-like glyph around his finger to glow.*

*The entrance responded to Lezard's presence, allowing him to step through the warped wall.*

Lezard: "Ooo-"

*A strong wind blew to one side, blowing the pages in Lezard's book.*

Lezard: "Jinkies!" *He closed the book and quickly hobbled over the aura made path, stepping onto the land.*

*Lezard shook his body and hobbled to a certain spot, plunking himself on the ground.*

Lezard: "The outside is always more chilly at first-" *He spoke to himself and continued to eat the kebab.*

----------

*Rachael and Trevour found themselves out in a clearing, with the constant sounds of waves crashing in the distance.*

Rachael: *She took a deep breath.* "It's really amazing. Take one step and everything changes, even the smell of the air."

Trevour: "It can be temperamental at times, but it can also be enjoyable-"

*A woman wearing a white chefs-like hat, turned around in curiosity and smiled at Trevour and Rachael.*

Chef: "You made it-" *She noticed the block wrapped in sheets in Trevour's arms.* "You mean to tell me you actually got it?!"

Trevour: "Sure did, madam!"

Chef: "That's amazing!" *She ran up to Trevour and grabbed the meat in excitement.* "With this, I'll be able to cook a master dish with S classed ingredients!"

Rachael: "Hehe, sounds great." *She smiled and watched the woman fidget with more excitement.*

Chef: "I'll post the reward for this quest at The Black Trade."

Trevour: "Sound excellent, madam."

Rachael: "Should we walk back together?"

Trevour: "Safety in numbers, I like it, boss."

Chef: *She smiled, shaking her head.* "No. I need to prepare these ingredients in my own little kitchen. But the food will be at Cookz in Silver Wind Island."

Trevour: "At Cookz? That place is a delight to the tongue."

Rachael: "Hehe, that's something Lezard would say."

*A man wearing a cowboy hat riding a large ostrich-like Scoldrant trampled up to the chef.*

Man: "I travel from ta-own to ci-tee, my Sco-ol-draynt is very sp-eed-ee." *He chewed on gum and adjusted his cowboy hat.*

Trevour: "Hello again, sir. I remember seeing you a few years back at the city."

Man: "I see my ra-anch is evar so pop-yul-arh."

Chef: "Thank you again, The Rostical Guild." *She smiled in appreciation and hopped up on the ostrich behind the man.*

Man: "To your ta-own?"

Chef: "Yes please!"

Rachael: "Bye!" *She smiled, watching the ostrich run out of sight at amazing speeds.*

Trevour: "Mission officially completed, heh heh."

Rachael: "Phew. I hope the others had a successful quest too."

Trevour: "I definitely agree."

----------

Nathan: *He silently watched Luna storm ahead of the party.* "Luna-?"

Luna: "Everythin' is fine, let's keep goin', aye." *She spoke with sarcasm.*

Nathan: "..."

Karol: "What's wrong with Loona?"

Nathan: ".. Nothing."

Karol: "Ohkay?"

Nathan: *He sighed and continued to follow Luna, staring at her back with regret.* (Why did I?)

Karol: "What's wrong wiff yooh, Nafan?"

Nathan: "Ah, nothing, Karol."

Karol: "But-"

Nathan: "Men don't show their feelings." *He took a deep breath and puffed out his chest, walking slightly faster.*

Karol: (I don't understand what's going on.) *He thought to himself with worry.*

----------

*Rachael and Trevour walked through a forest, listening to the growing sounds of waves crash in the distance.*

Trevour: "We're almost there, boss, heh heh."

Rachael: "Almost there." *She smiled and formed a fist in excitement.*

Trevour: "Maybe when we get back, we could go to the local cooks and request to have some of the meat we got in today's quest?"

Rachael: "Oh, that's great! We should get the whole guild and have a dinner together!"

Trevour: "Sounds-"

?????: "Absolutely, mouth watering, heart warming, delicious!"

Trevour: "Greetings, sir."

Rachael: "Hey, Lezard."

Lezard: "Bwarharh, what took you? I've been waiting-"

Rachael and Lezard: "For years?"

Lezard: "Bwarharh, naw, shucks. You're getting to know me rather too well, Razzypoo."

Rachael: "Hehe."

Lezard: *He watched Trevour and Rachael walk towards him.* "How did it go? Going on missions to get drop items are all about chance."

Trevour: "We still did it." *He smiled at Rachael and stood in a more casual pose, causing his armour to rattle.*

Lezard: "Yay!"

Rachael: "Yeah, it happened to be the last-..!" *She looked shocked and glanced over her shoulder.*

Lezard: "What is it?"

Trevour: "Do you feel it too, boss?"

Rachael: "Yeah."

Lezard: "Ooo, tell Lezard what's happening?"

Trevour: "Someone is coming, sir. And at an incredible speed."

Lezard: "Oh?" *He looked into the direction Rachael and Trevour were facing.* "Should we head back to the city?"

Rachael: "We still have to wait for the others, and we're not sure if this person is bad or not."

Trevour: "..." (When you're adept at reading the vibrations on the ground, you get to tell what kind of person they are.. Whoever this person is, is pure evil.)

Lezard: *He looked at Rachael in agreement.* "I sure hope so."

----------

Kath: *She paced back and forth in the middle of a stone room, as if she was waiting for something.* "Where are you-?"

*A man flashstepped into the stone room and instantly dropped to one knee, causing his armour to rattle.*

Man: "I apologise for the wait, ma'am-"

Kath: "Cameron, I expected better from the number one captain."

Cameron: *He lowered his head in respect.* "Like I previously stated a mere moment ago, ma'am. I apologise."

Kath: "Hmph." *She grunted in acknowledgement.* "I have a very special mission for you."

Cameron: "Hoh?" *He looked up, intrigued.*

Kath: "These missions are usually for The Black Brigade, but every member appears to be busy with their own at the moment."

Cameron: (Blake and the others?) "I understand. What are your orders, ma'am?"

Kath: "There is a woman I wish for you to bring back."

Cameron: "A woman?" *He sounded surprised.* "You ask that of the number one captain?"

Kath: "Indeed."

Cameron: "Is she.. Powerful?"

Kath: "Compared to the Consultants, she is nothing."

Cameron: "I see."

Kath: "Seek her and bring her back."

Cameron: "Whereabouts is her location?"

Kath: "Her last energy signature was located near the activation of the fourth Unknown Territory."

Cameron: (The fourth?) "I understand."

Kath: "She is dangerous. Bring her back alive, but we do not care of her condition."

Cameron: "Dangerous? Of her condition? Is she near my power level?"

Kath: "Dismissed." *She turned around.* "The only people more stronger than yourself, Cameron, is us, the Consultants."

Cameron: "I understand." *He stood up and turned around with a disappearing image.*

Kath: "I feel a little uneasy, all these captains on different duties."

?????: "Oh? But that's the importance of the warrior system, is it not?"

Kath: "Ridley?" *She looked to the side, watching a man appear from a swirl of darkness.* "Where have you been?"

Ridley: "My job infiltrating the enemy, it's much harder than I thought, ha ha."

Kath: "Have you learnt anything special?"

Ridley: *He shook his head.* "They don't know the location to the last Unknown Territory either."

Kath: "Hmm?"

Ridley: "But I've had the fantastic opportunity to poison the ruler."

Kath: "Oh?" *She spoke with a smile and faced Ridley, noticing he wore unusual glasses.* "What are those pitiful things?"

Ridley: "These?" *He adjusted the glasses on his face and stepped into the light, revealing a different hairstyle.* "I'm undercover."

Kath: "Wearing glasses and changing your hairstyle doesn't hide who you are."

Ridley: "Well, it's worked so far." *He smiled.* "They haven't got a clue, the folly hahahaha."

Kath: *She smiled and nodded her head.* "I've sent the number two to look for the last Unknown Territory."

Ridley: "I suspect it's in a Spacial Funnel."

Kath: "My thoughts exactly. That's why sending the number two was a far better choice than number one."

Ridley: (Her musical scores to detect and counteract any abnormal Astragons in the air-) "How very smart of you, Kathalestel."

Kath: "Hmph. Leave now, we don't want your identity to be revealed now, do we?"

Ridley: *He turned around with a discreet smile.* "You're right."

Kath: "Get back to me when you find out anything else."

Ridley: "Of course. Until next time."

Kath: "Indeed."

Ridley: "You also ensure to report anything to me, too." *He sighed and clicked his fingers, puffing into a cloud of shadow-like smoke.*

Kath: "..." *She squinted her eyes in an unimpressed-like manner, watching the smoke fade away.*

----------

*A woman ran through a forest and blinding speeds, watching the trees blur past her.*

?????: "Fufufu-" *She ran into a sparkle of light and stopped abruptly, finding herself in a large clearing.*

Rachael: *She gasped with widening eyes.* "Who-?"

Trevour: *He stepped back, causing his armour to rattle.* "T-Tara?!"

Tara: "Fufufufu." *She smirked evil-like and stepped forward, glaring at Trevour.* "So we meet again, heretic?"

Trevour: (This is bad!)
