Earth
Single-layer Realm made for humans to experience life, sometimes multiple times. With its own time dilation, humans can choose any point in the Earth's existence to live after their first life. Some places, like Reno, Nevada, are created to be relay points between Realms. This makes these places ideal destinations for second lives and visits from all manner of beings.

The Abyss
The place between dimensions (not to be confused with Realms, which exist in the same dimension), usually only accessible by death and passed through quickly. Prolonged exposure can cause extreme changes in beings' personalities and mental states.
Terms
Rulers
Beings from Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory who are designated to keep order and make decisions that affect their respective Realms. Typically there is one High Ruler per Realm and five Rulers that serve under them. Ruler turnover is extremely rare and new Rulers are typically chosen by those they replace, or if one was not chosen, voted on by the remaining Rulers.

Realms
The term "The Realms" typically refers to the system encompassing Heaven, Purgatory, Hell, and Earth.
Realm is a general term that refers to any place beings exist as a collective.
Powers/Energy
Some beings can manipulate the energy of their respective Realms. Heaven houses Lightness, Purgatory houses Neutrality, and Hell houses Darkness. Rulers can typically use the energy of their Realm to varying degrees, with the Highest Rulers being masters. Beings who can use more than one energy are extremely rare, but not impossible.
