Jess
“I don’t understand. We aren’t in Alaska anymore. But how?”
“Let’s leave my vessel behind,” Kronos said calmly, “This ship will be much larger and I’ll have the workers draw up quarters.”
He wasn’t explaining anything. I decided to ask about the siblings — the two terrifying blue-skinned aliens who made Kronos look about as intimidating as a puppy.
“You have siblings?”
I’d forgotten all about my plans to hold Kronos captive and get my ransom. I was in space. Every woman attacked by wanderlust has the desperate desire to remove herself from the familiar and immerse herself in the abnormal. That desire would finally be sated. Robbing Kronos was the furthest thing from my mind. I wasn’t even on Earth anymore.
“Yes. My siblings are soldiers for the royal family.”
“Their blue is different for yours.”
“Yes, there are many skin pigments, just like on your planet.”
“I don’t understand,” I whispered, “Why didn’t they leave me behind?”
“I asked them not to.”
“What about my mother?”
“You want to rescue her.”
“Yes. I want to rescue myself! I’m homeless.”
“You aren’t. Not anymore.”
Kronos came close to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I froze. I hated how he had this effect on me, how no matter what I did, he seemed absolutely smitten with me.
“Why do you always have to do that?” I accused.
“Do what?”
“You’re acting like because we slept together it means something.”
“It does.”
By then, Kronos had both his arms around me and my head fell just beneath his ribcage. I could hear him breathing and the sound of two heartbeats. I pulled my head away gasping.
<<Yes, I have two hearts…>>
“Stop.”
I pushed his chest and released myself from his grasp.
“I shouldn’t allow myself to get close to you.”
“Why?”
“You could be dangerous.”
“You’re the one who held me captive. You’re the one who put a knife to my throat.”
He had a point about that, whether I could concede it or not.
“You don’t always have to be such a smart ass.”
“My apologies, sweetling. Now come, let us leave the ship.”
We walked off the same way Thalassa and Morpheus did. As we descended the pearl white stairs, Kronos linked arms with me. It was like grabbing onto a tree branch for support. We passed a number of guards, a mixture of males and females, although I did struggle to tell the females apart.
They bowed their heads as Kronos passed.
“Are you communicating?” I whispered.
“Yes. Now hush, verbal conversation is seen as disrespectful in public.”
That didn’t make much sense to me but the ship was quiet enough to hear a pin drop, so there must have been some truth to what he said. One of the officers on the ship stopped in front of Kronos. She was tall, around his height, with light blue skin and a wild smile on her face. She pressed her forehead to his and he pulled away. I sensed something wistful.
Who was she? After a few moments of them “connecting”, the female pulled her head away, turned around, and walked off in the other direction.
“Who was that?” I hissed.
<<Are you jealous?>>
“No!” I whispered.
<<I know that you’re jealous.>>
“Why would I be jealous of you and some alien. We just met each other, remember?”
<<You’re an open book, Jessica.>>
We turned down to a quiet hallway where we were finally alone.
“She was no one special to me.”
“I sensed some kind of wistful longing.”
“So you were jealous?” Kronos teased.
“You’re not being funny, you know.”
“She was my ex-girlfriend.”
“So she was someone special.”
“Over a hundred years ago, yes. We shared something. But that specialness is gone because we were never bonded.”
There was that wistfulness again.
“Did you wish to be bonded to her?”
“I haven’t for over a hundred years. There is a different person on my mind now.”
There he was again, flirting, acting all sentimental even when it didn’t make sense. He threw his emotions at me — all that warm, fuzziness, and he just expected me to accept it, to believe that an alien could feel that way about me, regular old Jess Benally who never had a guy treat her right in her life.
<<You think very loudly.>>
“I can’t help it.”
<<I don’t mind, Jessica. When we arrive at our quarters, we’ll discuss.>>
We walked for what felt like a mile. How could a ship that was in space be this large? I made a mental note to ask Kronos later. We came to large doors and he opened them without touching them. I followed him inside. His quarters were luxurious. It was like walking into a palace. Everything was white, his bed was enormous, at least four times the size of a California King. One of his walls had a water fountain and installed in the wall was a replication unit. The temperature was cool, but not too cold, like an Alaskan summer.
“I hope you like the temperature.”
“It’s fine.”
“You seem overwhelmed.”
“I don’t need you being sweet to me.”
“I know this is difficult for you.”
“It should be harder. I should have more on earth that I’m afraid to leave behind.”
“You had a difficult life, Jess.”
“You can’t possibly know that.”
“I could, if you’d let me.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Come. Let me touch you.”
“Kronos…”
“Do you trust me?”
His hair fell across his broad shoulders. Those shoulders had lifted me against the wall of his ship and cradled me as we made love. Those arms had held me in a protective position as we traveled. Those lips had pried mine open and tasted every inch of me. Then there was Kronos — the alien. He felt something for me, and unlike any human man I’d ever met, he wasn’t afraid to show it.
He wasn’t afraid to possess me and in doing so, give himself freely to me.
“Yes. I trust you.”
“Then come. Allow me to understand.”
He came close to me and lifted me off the ground. Instinctively, I wrapped my legs around his torso and arms around his neck. I could see the ridges on his nose so clearly now. His pointed ears were just within my reach. His blue lips begged for my kiss in return.
He leaned forward and pressed his forehead to mine. My eyes closed involuntarily and my memories opened. It was like working loose a hole in a sweater. Kronos stuck his mind into mine and wriggled until my memories opened and every bit of my childhood spilled out from my head into his. He knew everything. I could keep no secrets from Kronos now.
He saw the day I was born. He saw what it was like growing up with my parents. He saw the fighting. The screaming. He saw the spot behind the TV where I used to hide as daddy hit my mom. He saw the night she fought back and I called the cops and they took her away for three days. He saw the welts on my arms and legs. He saw me running away for the first time to go live with my English teacher who promised we’d be together forever. I was too young. He saw everything and as tears streamed down my cheeks, his eyes glowed yellow and he held me close.
“I’ll never let you go, Jessica.”
It was the first time anyone had said something like that to me. It was the first time anyone offered to protect me. I wanted him to stop reopening the wounds, but at the same time, I celebrated letting out the poison. Kronos saw every moment of my life and when he pulled his head away, he only whispered, “I understand.”
I collapsed onto his chest, weeping as he stroked my hair.
“How did you do that?”
“Shhh,” he whispered, “Let it all out. I’m not going anywhere, Jessica. I’m right here.”
I cried and clung to his chest and for the first time, I could drop the “tough Jessica” act and just be with him. For the first time, I wanted to. Earth didn’t feel like my home anymore. Perhaps it had never been my home. Perhaps my life in Alaska had been one long stint in a waiting room as I prepared myself for this.
“You’ve had a lot of telepathic activity for the day,” he suggested, “You’d better rest.”
I wanted to protest, but he was right that I was tired. I could hardly keep my eyes open as I leaned on him. He let me down onto the ground and I crawled into bed. Kronos crawled right next to me and held my body close to his. I didn’t resist.
<<Oh sweetling, you have nothing else to worry about. I promise.>>
I believed him. For once in my life, I could feel safe. I sensed his honesty. His care for me. And his love. Although that last bit terrified me to my core too.
Kronos lifted me off the ground. It was the only way we could be really face to face, with him holding me and clutching me, his body pressed against mine.
<<I need to leave soon to speak with my superiors, but for now, I’m all yours.>>
“Good.”
I grabbed his cheeks, pulling his blue face close to mine. I ran my hands over the top of his pointed ears and traced his earlobes with my thumbs, continuing to kiss him and caress the face I didn’t know at all, yet felt like I’d known forever. The telepathic connections between us made everything happen faster…
I reached for the sleeves on his tunic, pulling them off over his broad shoulders. His fingers clenched, digging into my side desperately as I struggled to get his shirt off over his bulging muscles. His hardness rose in his pants as I successfully stripped him down and ran my hands over his muscles, each one perfectly defined and warm beneath my finger tips.
He was the only thing keeping me warm in our cold room. He pressed his forehead to mine, kissing me urgently. As he weaved a telepathic connection between the two of us, my mind melted like chocolate in the sun. His grip on my curvy hips tightened and I submitted fully to him. As his tongue danced between my lips, he sent intentional surges of pleasure through me. I moaned, just from him kissing me. He’d forged a connection directly from my mind to my hot wet slit and my lips slipped against each other as my clit engorged on the edge of an enormous explosion of heat and passion for him.
He stripped the rest of his clothing off and then my own. He held me up against the wall, our bodies pressed together, completely naked.
<<You know the risks.>>
I grabbed onto his long white hair and kissed him. Yes, I know the risks. No, I don’t care. As long as I’m with him, with Kronos, none of it mattered. Once I’d allowed myself, no other euphoria felt like this. No other attachment mattered. I had to have him. Now.
Kronos spread my legs wide, overcome with the same urgency. My urgency. Our thoughts were connected, shared as one as we rode towards pleasure. He set me down on the ground and led me to his giant bed. I’d never seen a bed so enormous. He prodded me on amongst the silken sheets, as soft and woolen as cashmere but as tightly woven as satin. My knees trembled as my all-fours position initiated a memory of what was to come.
It was huge — everything about him, from his arms to those thick elephant trunks between his legs. Except the thing is, no matter how big a human man might be, he still only has one. Kronos was armed with two of those things. He stroked my back, sending ticklish feather sensations down my spine.
He bent his head between my legs, lying on his stomach and craning his head up between my legs. He stroked my thighs, spreading them apart so my wetness could drip directly onto his tongue. He inhaled deeply, evacuating the warm air between my legs into his lungs and exhaling with a deep groan of satisfaction.
“Your smell is perfect,” he murmured.
My legs trembled even more than before. He kissed my thigh, easing my body’s instinctive terror with the touch of his lips. His lips traveled up the length of my thigh and then he spread open my pussy lips, bulging like ripe fruit, and thrust his tongue between them. Both prongs of his tongue vibrated as he snaked between my outer lips, pleasuring me with his hot skilled mouth.
I came quickly, all over his tongue. He grabbed my thighs to hold me still as I writhed in absolute pleasure. Kronos kept a firm grip on my legs and as I bucked my big bubble butt back, his tongue slipped all the way from my clit to my tight, puckered, forbidden asshole. As I climaxed again, Kronos sensed my tingling awareness of my tight backdoor as his tongue stimulated every inch of my soft wet lips. He slipped one prong away from my pussy lips and then too his second to probe my backdoor entrance. I moaned as his first prong rubbed circles around my clit, pushing me over the edge to a climax.
Then, Kronos pushed the first inch of his tongue past my tight backdoor and my pleasure escalated. I cried out as juices sprayed from my tightness all over his tongue and lips and my ass tightened around his invading tongue. He put his tongue in my ass and then pulled it out, licking at every inch of flesh along my thighs and between my legs. He sucked on every inch of me like a ripe peach and when I was a dripping, blubbering mess, he pulled away from me.
“It’s so hard to say goodbye to you now,” he murmured.
“Goodbye?” I turned over onto my back, my wetness and thighs splattered with my juices.
“I must rendezvous with my superiors regarding my mission on earth. I’ll return for you.”
“Kronos, can I ask you something before you go?”
“Of course.”
“I want to find a way to talk to them.”
“Of course you do,” he said, “Once I’m gone you go to that panel and summon someone.”
“Summon someone?”
He was talking like this ship was run by servants or something. I couldn’t just summon someone.
“Jess, I’ve got to go.”
“I can’t just summon somebody!”
“Yes, you can. You’re a guest of honor on this ship.”
“I’ll say. I’ve never been able to just summon someone to do my bidding.”
“I know. But you’ll get used to it. And all the finer things my kind have to offer.”
