ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

Three of the four chapters of this book include detailed service sheets used in specific churches. These service sheets include numerous hymns and choruses, sometimes only the words, and sometimes both words and music. Every effort has been taken to track down copyright holders and secure permission. We have inserted a credit line at each place in the text where permission has been granted, but it seems appropriate to group those acknowledgments here as well. In the relatively few instances of songs where no credit line is provided, the material, as far as we have been able to determine, lies in the public domain.
