Velcro tabs or small snaps between buttons also work to keep the shirt lying flat.
Shorten sleeves—but make sure that the tailor maintains the cuff and that the tailoring is done from the top of the cuff.
DON’T BOTHER . . .
• If you have a really big bust and a really small waist, button-front shirts really aren’t your best friends. Sorry. You can have darts or snaps added to keep the shirt placket from rippling and gaping, but for the most part, you’re going to feel like your boobies are about to bust out at any moment.
