Oysters Kilpatrick

You just can’t beat the combination of creamy oyster, salty bacon and worcestershire sauce. Yum. (You do know worcestershire is made from anchovies, don’t you?)

8 freshly shucked oysters, on the shell

worcestershire sauce

2 rashers (slices) bacon, finely chopped

freshly ground black pepper

chopped flat-leaf parsley

Preheat the grill (broiler) to high.

Arrange the oysters on a baking tray. Add a splash of worcestershire sauce to each oyster and top with bacon. Place under the grill and cook until the bacon just starts to get crisp and brown at the edges. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of pepper and the parsley.
