The lights come up on Marcus in his bed sleeping and Oshoosi Size standing in a pool of water crying gently at first until he covers his mouth, doubles over, and . . .

(Lights out on Oshoosi. Marcus wakes breathing heavy.)

The cast forms a funeral processional led by Ogun Size and trailed by Marcus.

Ogun breaks down: he puts his hand to his mouth, doubles over, and cries to himself. He walks offstage. Marcus stops, stares at Ogun.
