THE ADEPTUS MECHANICUS
Often known as the Adepthood of Mars, the Adeptus Mechanicus creates and maintains technology throughout the Imperium. Once an empire in its own right, the Mechanicus joined forces with the Emperor of Mankind to build a huge army that would protect the Imperium from both xenos and Chaotic threats.
The tech-adepts of the Adeptus Mechanicus augment their bodies with bionic implants and whirling mechanical arms known as mechadendrites. They follow the teachings of the Machine-Lord and believe that every cogitator contains a spirit that helps it function.
