Special Thanks

First, I want to take a moment, as I always do, to say a heartfelt thank you to my husband and kids who endlessly support and inspire me. As my girls have gotten older, they’ve become more interested in each of my stories (minus the kissing scenes, because… gross) and their excitement helps push me when I inevitably get to the part in each book I’m ready to give up. Thank you, my darling girls. I love you both more than you’ll ever know.

Second, if you noticed the dedication in this book and aren’t familiar with the term “Bookstagrammer”, it’s a phrase coined by book lovers on Instagram. Authors, readers, reviewers, from casual to full time. The community is based on a love for books. When I first set out to start my proofreading business, I “walked” into the community not knowing what to expect. Two women in particular, @fictionaddictionangela and @angelacairnsauthor, who were the first to really welcome me. Hence the main character’s name, Angel. I appreciate you ladies and your kindness in those early days. It felt a bit like being accepted to join the cool kids at a new school. With each of the novels in this series, I chose a musical artist to draw inspiration from to create the story. It makes the writing process so much more fun to curate a perfect playlist to go along with the book.
