John Shirley is the author of over fifty books ranging from the groundbreaking City Come-A-Walkin’ and the classic cyberpunk A Song Called Youth trilogy of Eclipse, Eclipse Corona, and Eclipse Penumbra to dark cult classics like Demons and Wetbones to supernatural mystery (Doyle After Death) and even historical fiction with Wyatt In Wichita. Many of his numerous short stories have been gathered in the Bram Stoker Award-winning Black Butterflies and seven other collections. An Emmy-nominated screenwriter, he is best known for his work on the film The Crow. As a musician Shirley has fronted his own bands and written lyrics for Blue Öyster Cult and others.
