I always believed Persephone knew what she was doing when she ate that pomegranate.
The story of the woman who was called Kore (The Maiden) who ascended to the throne of the Underworld to become one of the most powerful forces of mythology has always fascinated me. I’ve written multiple variations. Sometimes Persephone is already a goddess, sometimes she is a mortal, sometimes she is something neither or both.
Whatever the case may be, here’s to the Queen of Happily Ever After.
