EVERYDAY CUPCAKES

This is the chapter where you will find many of the Sprinkles Cupcakes you already know and love, most of which are on regular—if not daily—rotation in our stores. It’s such a thrill to be able to share these carefully adapted home versions, which bring the store experience right to your kitchen. Because the cupcake is an innately simple creation, the details count for everything. At my bakeries, we work tirelessly toward perfection: mixing the batter just until the flour is integrated and no more; scooping the exact same amount of batter into each cup so everything bakes at the same rate; spinning the cupcake tray midway through and pulling it from the oven the second the tops are dry; and, finally, frosting the cupcakes the moment they have cooled to seal in freshness.

Each cupcake flavor is scooped in slightly different amounts and has a different baking time; some rise into light cakes while others are denser by design. Each one has a specific personality, and at Sprinkles we know every last quirk. I’m excited for you to get to know each cupcake’s characteristics at home, and to make these cupcakes your own.
