I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about energy animals and that the imagine sections have helped you connect with them on a deep level. It’s important to remember to honor your energy animals as often as you can. Here are some ideas to get you started.

Honor Your Energy Animal

It is a blessing to be able to connect with your energy animal’s frequency, so it only makes sense that you should want to express your gratitude to them for their shared energy connection. There are many ways you can do this, and it is a unique expression of gratitude for their part in your life. Here are some of the things I do that you can also do, or use these as ideas to jump-start your creativity.

Share Your Frequency by Sending Energy: One of the easiest and best ways you can honor your energy animal is to send it positive vibrations from your core soul essence. Imagine these vibrations as two beams of light moving from the center of your chest and from your head to the animal’s heart and head. Send them love from your heart and positive thoughts to let them know you respect and care about them and that they can trust you. Thank them for sharing this sacred part of their spiritual being with you. Your appreciation for their gift is powerful energy. They want to help us, and knowing we are thankful for their advice and presence in our lives brings balance between our energy animals and our spiritual selves. It’s always amazing to me how easily energy animals (and animals in the physical realm) pick up on this sharing of frequency and will feel drawn to you.

Collecting Statues and Figurines: My lifetime energy animal is the horse. As a child, I had horse statues all over my room. As an adult, I no longer collect the large figures that I did as a child but instead collect the small figurines. I have them all on the top of three bookshelves where I can see them every day. I also have several larger horse statues that are displayed prominently in my home. You can collect figurines of your energy animal and also create your own sculptures of them.

Sharing Life: When I go out to my barn, I enjoy a physical connection with my energy animal because I have lots of horses in my life. As I visit with each of them, I connect with their unique frequencies and personalities. If your energy animal is one you can have in your life, then by all means do it! If your energy animal is a wild animal instead of a domesticated one, then you’ll have to engage with its energy from afar, but if you can see it in person, you’ll get the same in the flesh effect. You can also go to a wildlife sanctuary, zoo, or any other place where you’ll encounter the animal.

Support: There are many charitable organizations that work with specific types of animals and their habitat. There are fish, wildlife, and bird refuges and sanctuaries; animal rights, welfare, and service organizations; and zoos, aquariums, and zoological societies. Find one that works with your energy animal and offer a monetary donation to support the cause or volunteer your time at the facility.

Images: Can you draw or paint? If you can, create drawings or paintings of your energy animal. You can keep them in a private sketchbook or create large canvas images to display on your wall. If you use a computer, then make your screen saver an image of your energy animal. Take photographs of the animal and create a physical photo album or save the images on your computer so you can look at the animal often.

Vision Board: You can find pictures in magazines and create an image montage of your energy animal and then hang it on the wall for easy viewing. These images can be pictures of your energy animal and ones that depict its appealing qualities such as wisdom, strength, patience, or courage. Have you noticed the qualities you admire in your energy animal are often qualities you also possess? A vision board will strengthen your connection to your energy animal and remind you of your own positive characteristics.

Write: As an author, I often include stories about my experiences with my energy animals in my nonfiction books and include my energy animals in my novels. It’s a way to share my energy animals with you, my readers, and to honor the energy animals at the same time. You can write stories or poems about your energy animal or keep a diary about them.

Jewelry and Clothing: I have lots of pendants of my energy animals. You can also wear pendants, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry in the shape of your energy animal. Wearing hats, shirts, jackets, and other clothing that have pictures of the energy animal on it is also a way to honor that animal.

Movies and TV: Enjoying a movie or television show about your energy animal is a great way to honor it. You can rent the movie and watch it at home or visit a theater. You could even have friends over to watch the movie or television show with you, especially if their energy animal is the same as yours.

Tattoo: If you’re a fan of tattoos, consider getting one of your energy animal. If you’re unsure about the permanence of getting a tattoo, then get a temporary tattoo. That way it’s not permanent, and you’re honoring your energy animal.

Research: The more you know about your energy animal, the more you will understand its messages and the easier it will be to connect to its frequency. Read as much as you can about the animal and watch nature videos so you can see it living in its habitat. Learn about medical conditions it can have, what it likes to do for playtime, how it interacts with other animals, how it cares for its young, what it eats, and how it feeds. Become an expert on your energy animal.

Commune: Sometimes the best way to interact with your energy animal is to just sit silently and feel its personality and energy. Oftentimes, you’ll find that the energy animal will seek you out. For example, the other day there was a red-tailed hawk flying around the barn. I’m pretty sure it was hunting. I started to commune with it by wondering what it was doing and then how it felt to fly in circles like that. The next thing I knew, the hawk was sitting on the fence about ten feet away staring at me. It was an amazing moment with an energy animal.

Gifts: Giving gifts to or leaving gifts out for energy animals was common practice throughout history by many different cultures as a way to express gratitude to the animal for its help. You could give the animal a food treat if it is a dog, horse, or other domesticated animal. If it is wild, you can burn incense for it or leave something on the ground for it. Native Americans often left tobacco as a gift of gratitude for the animals.

As I’ve discussed throughout this book, animal frequency is a divine connection to the animal kingdom. It’s important to trust in your abilities when combining your frequency to that of your energy animals. Empathy, telepathy, and intuition are especially important so you can feel the deepest connection possible. Your energy animals want to share their frequency with you; they want to guide and assist you on your spiritual path. You must believe in yourself and trust that what you hear, see, and feel are messages from your energy animal. Don’t doubt or second-guess yourself. Instead trust in your first impression; it will always be correct. There is no limit to the success you will attain when connecting your energy to the animal kingdom. I hope you enjoy your journey into animal frequency.
