Rachelle Cochran wrote and self-published her first book at age six. Though not exactly the most thought-provoking story, it started a life-long passion for writing. A native of northern Minnesota, the land of sky blue waters and deep forests, Rachelle grew up in a small town, but now lives near Duluth in a tiny cottage overlooking the tempestuous Lake Superior with her son and daughter. Her small town roots, abundant lakes, peaceful forests, and the sound of freshwater waves of Lake Superior crashing on the shore provide endless inspiration for her stories and poems.
