No one told me that writing a blog could lead to inspiring people. Especially since I don’t always feel inspirational; as a matter of fact, our life, in my eyes, is perfectly normal. I wanted to create this book for you, for someone with limited time and a limited budget, so that you could create in your everyday home; so that your “normal” might look a bit different.
It is my greatest hope that these projects and tips leave you inspired, and equip you with ideas and a spark to get started, to paint, to build, to craft; a spark to fully live where you are, embrace the imperfections, and create among them anyway.
As you create, may your home become your canvas, and your life the medium. May the projects you tackle be less about finishing, but more about how you feel creating them and living with them. May your home be completely yours from this point forward—perfectly imperfect, indeed.
