Campgrounds and RV Parks
On the introductory maps for each area, campgrounds close to the trailhead are shown. However, these are often full, so you may have to stay in a campground that is farther from your trailhead. Below is a list of campgrounds for both Yosemite National Park and each of the four bordering national forests. For each jurisdiction, a website with additional information about the campsites is given; the site will provide information on how to make campground reservations and information about facilities at each campsite. For Yosemite campground reservations, additional information is available. As for the lists of campsites, for Yosemite, campsites are clustered by access road. For national forests, campsites are listed in the order you will encounter them as you drive toward the park or its adjacent U.S. Forest Service lands. For the east side (US 395), campgrounds in the Humboldt-Toiyabe and Inyo National Forests are listed from north to south. R means that you can reserve a campsite in advance.
