Dear Lord, forgive me my many transgressions.
Grant me Your mercy and grace that I may
receive Your blessings.
Thank You for the bountiful life that You
bestow,
And the opportunities and blessings I have
come to know.
Cleanse my heart and grant me:
Wisdom to understand and accept Your plan,
Strength to always follow Your law,
Courage to face adversities throughout the land,
Patience to await You in reverential awe,
Perseverance to carry on my duties to the finish,
Humility to walk Your way and be Your witness.
Keep my family, friends, and countrymen safe beneath Your arm,
Most especially, our soldiers and missionaries away in foreign lands.
Protect us from evil and temptation as we pursue
our daily lives, and deliver us from fear and harm.
When we fail You, forgive us and lift us up to begin
anew in Your hands.
As always, Lord, Your will be done this day.
